Kumon Maths & English

I highly recommend Kumon Wembley park study centre, which is really close Preston road station.
My kids were struggling with basic Maths and English in school and we tried many tuition centers but didn't see much progress.
Since joining Kumon center which is just off Preston road station, my kids have excelled overall in Maths and English! Their school teachers clearly noticed the positive difference and asked us what we were doing different as to the last few terms, during parents meeting!

My kids get lots of praise from Kumon teachers and are taught easy techniques to overcome the difficult questions as they climb up the level. They're awarded with Achievements certificates and are now already in Level D since starting in October 2020.

During the lockdown, Kumon was the perfect solution as the worksheets are given to be completed from home. I ensure to mark my kids work everyday and do the corrections with them with the help of answer books. The lovely teachers are literally a phonecall away whenever the children find themselves struggling. The worksheets are tailored according to your child's ability to progress and I like that it's personalised rather than just one speed level for every age group.

They look forward to going into the centre once a week. There, the teachers check their progress, give assessments and update us parents at pick up time on their progress.

Mr Dalla always updates us on their progress and provides worksheets that are fun, stimulating and challenging.

My daughter joined Kumon from pre school and is currently in year 2, she consistently achieves top marks at school due to Kumon. She has gained a great deal of fluency and confidence. My son has started his journey with Kumon when he was in Year 1. Before joining Kumon, he was counting with his hands and we had to spent good amount of time with him to understand numbers.

After joining Kumon, Mr. and Mrs. Dhalla took personal interest in our son, as they do with other pupils and now my son is capable to do his work independently with great degree of accuracy and well under the given timelines.

I would say that Mr. and Mrs. Dhalla are always available to help and guidance whenever we needed. Even during covid situation when classes were online, they were spending more time on one to one video call with pupils as online teaching was really different and challenging for child, teachers and parents. They were making sure that online video calls are more friendly, more focused and more supportive.

Kumon has helped my son not to give up when things get tougher, but has given him strength and ability to push himself to take on further challenges and that’s why at the age of 8 he is doing his H level in Maths and G1 in English. This would not be possible without Mr. and Mrs. Dhalla. Their patience, commitment and individual attention is really appreciable and we are really grateful to have them in my son’s early years of education which are really fundamental in his career progression.

Effective techniques for helping children improve their maths and literacy.

I highly recommend Kumon Wembley Park.
Our daughter started there with Maths and English in 2020, during the Covid lockdown. It has completely transformed her level in Maths and English, to where we never could have envisioned, when we started in 2020. She was struggling particularly in Maths, when she was in year 2 and was actually getting very anxious in this subject. Through Kumon, she is now in the top set in her class, in Year 4, is confident in her abilities to do her school work, finds it easy and above all is a happy independent child. Which is all any parent could ask for!

Although we started our daughter late in the programme at Kumon Wembley Park, I can already see improvements. My daughter, who attends grammar school, is presently doing Maths and will start her English shortly. Her speed and accuracy are picking up and this will, no doubt, help build a solid foundation for the harder work ahead. The staff are friendly,helpful and very knowledgeable, and I would definitely recommend Kumon to any parent considering their child's future education needs
