Kumon Maths & English

I recommend Kumon to everyone with children I know.
Both my daughter and son attended the Kumon Centre in St. John's Church Hall at Tadworth
They both completed the maths program and benefitted greatly. Maths is improved through understanding, repetition and practice and this is where the strength of Kumon lies.
Their instuctor Louise Lung is amazing, strict firm and fair with Angela by her side, the two of them were a great combination.

I highly recommended Kumon, it's not easy and it's definitely a commitment and way of life but stick with it and the rewards are brilliant

I cannot recommend Kumon highly enough. I have two daughters - one now at a Russell group university doing law and the other having just achieved almost a full sweep of grade 9’s in her GCSEs including maths. Having found the teaching of maths in state primary school to be totally confusing and finding that they were both losing confidence in their maths I signed them up for Kumon. The best thing I ever did. It isn’t easy- but a little every day makes so much difference as they learn gradually and build on their knowledge. My youngest daughter is now doing maths A level. This would not have happened without Kumon and I am so relieved to have two numerically literate daughters- this would not have happened without Kumon and the excellent help from the tutor reviewing progress each week. Kumon became part of our daily life for 7/8 years. I can’t thank Kumon enough for what we achieved for my daughters during this time. Thank you from the bottom of my heart - you made a real difference to their education and life chances.

I have been involved with Kumon since I was in primary school (I’m now in my second year of A-levels) and I have found the course is great for developing pupils maths ability as it did for me! I am now a assistant instructor where through progressing though the system I have developed skills like interaction skills as well as different ways to teach tailoring it to different learning styles. I recommend kumon to anyone at any skill level!

As a former student, I cannot express how excellent Kumon was for my academic development throughout my adolscents. As a child I struggled with maths fundamentals and my english was particularly weak, however Kumon provided the necessary practice and support to bolster my skills. Louise as an instructor is a kind teacher that knows exactly how to bring the best of put of her students. As many of her students have got older we have attended excellent academic institutions. This includes, LSE, Durham University (myself), Southhampton Medical School and Oxbridge.

If you are wondering whether Kumon will help your child to excel in class and exams, I can assure you that you are in the right place!

The centre we go to is led by a fantastic lady Louise whom I trust fully. My son's progress shows in his school work, great mental maths skills, problem solving, focus, flow, I could not be any happier. I've had an amazing experience with Kumon and I never cease to recommend it. 😊

My son has been developing his maths profficiency for 4 years. It helped him progress to selective school and to become established in that environment. Homework is individually graded to the childs ability level and provides a great accelerant to performance. Louise in Tadworth has been a great help and we thoroughly revommend this Kumon location.

I can’t recommend Kumon highly enough. My son has been on the Kumon programme with Louise and her team for over a year now and I have seen such an improvement in his both his maths and English skills. I’m so pleased with the progress he has made that my daughter is now starting and in the few months she has been there I can see her confidence with numbers has grown tremendously. I feel the skills they are continually learning at Kumon will be life long. I love that the programme is individually tailored to each child’s needs and has been such a positive experience for my family.

Kumon here is extremely good. They teach me some topics before I do them at school, and that means that I'm a step ahead of my classmates at school. Would definitely recommend joining Kumon!
