Kumon Maths & English

Both my children have now been involved in the Kumon process.
It has had a huge effect on their ability to learn the basics, which means they are far more confident when it comes to taking on more complicated challenges at school.
The simple process has helped them to learn how to plan and organise tasks,not to mention Sarah's endless enthusiasm and ability to instil confidence!

My son completed primary level in Summer 2017. Sarah and her team are amazing and Sarah is a great tutor. We would recommend Kumon strongly to anyone. Here's what my son thinks of his Kumon experience: My name is William and I am 12 years old. I have been a student at Kumon Poundhill for two years doing the maths programme. I was quite apprehensive about doing the Kumon work but I soon got into the routine. I aimed to complete my booklets each day within the timeframe and keep on top of the work. This really paid off, I was getting through each level at a really good pace and Sarah, my tutor, was really encouraging. I enjoyed going to the centre each week as I got to compete against my brother, but also got the support and praise to get me to progress. I have valued the support of Kumon, as it prepared me for my independent school exam and my SATS. I passed my exam! My SATS results were great too, and Kumon was a major factor in this for preparing myself mentally and under pressure and working to a timeframe. Thanks Sarah and Kumon, my secondary school journey has started with a blast and I owe it to Kumon which has got me ahead of my learning years and the ability to work out maths problems mentally and quickly.

Kumon plays a major part in my son’s education. I’ve seen him developed his independence, focus and discipline. Before, He use to ask for help with his homework, but now He does everything on his own. Kumon has definitely given him confidence. He started in year 4 and now that he’s in year 7, even he himself noticed the difference. He’s been doing all his maths task at school ahead of schedule, his classmates look up to him when it comes to solving their maths exercises and even wait for his answers so they have a basis. It’s all coming together. Sarah and her team are brillant🏅. They are all very approachable and helpful. Kumon is an investment worthy to be shared. I highly recommend it. We’re so greatful we found Sarah and her Kumon 👍.

My son Pranaav initially hesitate to come to kumon. Because of Sarah’s continuous encouragement he is very interested now. His handwriting was worse when he joined but now he has improved a lot so that he gets continuous recognition from school. Now he built his vocabulary and can write his own piece of work.Thanks Sarah

My daughter’s only been attending for several weeks and she’s made progress in English in leaps and bounds! She was just made Student of the Week at school for a story she had written that got publish in a magazine. Highly recommended!
