Kumon Maths & English

Enrolling your child in Kumon is an excellent way to create discipline and interest in reading and maths. My child was in a different Kumon center prior to us moving to this location, and we have to say its been a fantastic experience here. Duhita and her team cater the work not only to a childs academic growth but also take into account personal and social development. I highly recommend enrolling your children in this particular location.

All three of my children have taken maths, at Kumon in Guildford. We started for various reasons and have ended at different times. My last child has now been doing it for three years now and is two years ahead of where she should be. This was evident in home schooling in lockdown when we were completing year eight maths and she is in year six. Kumon has continued through lockdown with zoom lessons. I could book an individual lesson if stuck and could contact through Whats app and text. Work was easy to exchange with little notes of encouragement.

My daughter is determined to finish the program. Ultimately she says she wants to take maths and further maths at A level.

Even if this isn't your aim, Kumon will give you a great understanding of maths. Times tables will be known instantly which will help in all aspects of life. The Guildford group is welcoming and when we are allowed to meet again, easy to find.

Both my my boys have completed maths Kumon at Guildford East for over 5 years and we have been really impressed by the consistent and professional approach taken to their learning. My son has participated in Kumon for over three years. He was struggling a little with maths at the end of year two and a friend recommended Kumon. He started on daily worksheets and a weekly classroom session. The support from Duhita and her team was, and still is, brilliant. Once the app was introduced he started working on a tablet instead of paper. This was definitely the right thing for my son. I have been so impressed with his progress. Doing maths little and often is a winning formula for progression. Improvement in handwriting, time management, focus and attention is a bonus that Kumon provides. I would encourage anyone with junior school age children to explore Kumon. School life is much easier when maths just clicks into place.

My children been doing Kumon for quite long time now, they enjoy doing their work every day. The best program I can recommend for children. They not just get very good at their math, they also learn so many techniques during their learning.

My two children have had Kumon maths lessons from the age of 7 and 4 respectively. They are now 15 and 12. Kumon has been a massive part of their success. Not only are they considerably advanced for their age at maths, the confidence it has given them has boosted their performance across all subjects. Being the youngest in class my son struggled to catch up with his class in Maths. Ever-since we have become part of the Kumon family we can see a stark difference in his performance and being a year ahead of his class in Maths ,he is much more confident now. The instructor Duhita is super supportive and we realised it more during Covid-19 lockdown as she was super organised and accommodated the kids with weekly online sessions. I am a happy parent and can’t recommend it highly enough.

My children have done well at Kumon. It has significantly improved their maths ability. I would recommend it to anyone where Maths is a challenge or would like their child to have greater depth in the subject.
