Sussex Uniforms Haywards Heath

My son recently moved schools and I had to purchase a full school uniform including sports wear for him. I found the staff to be extremely helpful and polite, despite it clearly being a busy period for them. Most of the items were in stock and the remainder of the items were ordered for me and I was kept informed of the anticipated arrival date. I changed my mind on the Blazer size and this was changed for the larger size without question. The DT overall had some loose stitching in one area, which I wasn't sure would stand the test of time and this was replaced without any quibble, the replacement being perfect. Overall it was an easy and seamless experience!

We ordered online and the goods arrived the next day to our home address. So although you state up to 5 days this was well within that time frame... so thanks you.

This places takes advantage of being seemingly the only place that stocks branded school uniforms to give a really poor service. I don't know whether they can't cope with demand or whether they just don't give a stuff. I ordered a load of branded stuff over three weeks ago - they've taken my money and not sent the order. Went and stood in a long line on Saturday to be told my order had been dispatched; today I've got a text from the delivery company saying they haven't received the parcel so can't deliver it after all. I've now spent about £100 with no clothes and school starting next week. I will put in a complaint to the school about having to use these people in future.

I have to say the quality of the uniform for Uckfield College is superb. Well worth the money. The school skirt is a breeze to wash and press, being a pleated skirt I was worried but it kept it's shape and looks great. The service is fabulous, ever so helpful. Would highly recommend.

Update: So near the end of the 1st school year, and I am so pleased with how the uniform has performed. It all looks as good as new and washes a dream. Well Done Sussex Uniform

Really poor service, bad attitude, greedy business - shop elsewhere for your uniform is my advice.

We bought a PE kit, came to School time, and found it was the wrong size. It was unworn, with labels, and in original packaging. Because we were over 30 days, and outside their return window, they couldn’t care less. The staff were borderline rude about it. Would it really have hurt them to exchange it for the bigger size - it was still perfectly saleable, and the uniform design hasn’t changed and won’t be changing. Just come across as greedy and unhelpful. Contacted their customer services department, and they were just as uncaring. So there you have it Sussex Uniforms, you’ve lost a customer and gained a bad review, for a tiny act of goodwill that you just couldn’t bring yourselves to accommodate.

How this place has any stars is stunning! Since Ardingly college gave this horrific firm the contract to supply school clothing for its pupils it’s been a disaster. They have no stock and what seems equally incompetent suppliers! If you can get an item they’ll change delivery dates multiple times and blame their supplier, don’t whatever you do buy something online because it has to be returned online. Oh and if you call them don’t ever expect anyone to answer, you just get welcome message saying they have a fault with their phone. An ideal opportunity for someone to create a good business that opens daily with good suppliers and competent staff.

Awful service, substandard clothing. No customer service care. Bought two logo school t'shirts, after one wash both developed holes by the label area. Threw them away thinking it was just a bad batch. Bought two more, both did the same. Sussex Uniforms not interested, not offered replacements. I have reported to the school to find a new supplier.
