Sharon has done a wonderful job reupholstering and rejuvenating my dark brown leather Duresta sofas. She was patient, kind and helpful talking me through what would suit my room, advising on type of fabrics and sent me masses of beautiful samples. It was really difficult to choose but she nursed me through and created two stunning sofas covered in gorgeous Linwood printed velvet fabric. They are light, bright, modern and look brand new. I am thrilled with them and very grateful for her inspiration, creativity and craftsmanship. She is simply brilliant. I could not recommend her more highly.

We had a chair and a footstool recently re-covered. The fabric recommendation was perfect and we worked together to create the richness of colour by using the velvet pile direction to its best effect. The whole process was efficient and painless and we are very happy with our 'pop of colour' orange velvet items.

I did Sharon's Power hour for upholsterers recently and finished the call with a renewed excitement about my business. She focused on great marketing strategies which were tailored to my business and helped me with planning for the future. I highly recommend her power hour (more like 90 mins!) if you are feeling a bit stuck at the moment. Her energy and enthusiasm are infectious!

If I had to review Vintique in just one word it would be 'WOW'
What an experience! Working with Sharon has been an absolute pleasure. When I was gifted a 50 year old chair from my Nana I knew I didn't want any old upholsterer working on it. I wanted someone who shared my values and enthusiasm.
Sharon's crusade against furniture going to landfill and her ability to see the potential in even the most dilapidated furniture made me feel I had to get in touch. From the very first consultation where Sharon asked me about the use the chair would get, what the room and light would be like, I knew that working with her was going to be a wonderful investment.
The process felt so smooth - Sharon sent me around 15 fabric samples to choose from. All of them matching something we'd discussed in the consultation - whether it was colour, pattern, fabric etc. When I got stuck between 2 designs I loved equally, Sharon helped me narrow it down to the final fabric. She's a wealth of knowledge and reminded me of things I hadn't considered like what fabric I wanted for the buttons and piping. She even sourced a special paint which uses a new technique to get just the right look on the tips of the legs.
The chair is now the pride and joy of my living room, it feels entirely new and everyone comments on how unique it is.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Vintique for any upholstery you need.

Review December 2022: Sharon, at Vintique Upholstery, recently recovered our two Louis armchairs which we bought at auction about 25 years ago. They’re obviously not valuable antiques 😁 but my dad spent hours scraping off some yucky, thick, beige paint to reveal rather pretty wood frames underneath.
Originally recovered at the time, the fabrics & cushions had got a bit tired (& uncomfortable as cheeky visitors informed us!) so it was over to Sharon for a refresh & recover in super beautiful fabrics …
Magic upholstery done, the recovered chairs add a beautiful soft furnishing element to ‘the story of us’ as seen in our – mine and my partners - home … ‘they’re so you …’ has been the general response.
A friend who knows about fabrics (Saville Row tailoring professional) remarked on the wonderful pattern placement of the Zoffany orange fabric … everyone else seems to love the Gautier jade spatter colours on 1st view.
I cannot speak highly enough of the fabulous job that Sharon has done - replacing studs with piping as the finish; overhauling the cushioning to give extra height for comfort; just beautiful upholstery work all round and, again, she has been a pleasure to work with as her love of her job is so infectious.
Many thanks for a wonderful upholstering experience and I hope to be back with another project soon.
Review November 2021: Sharon has done a fabulous job recovering my, incredibly comfortable but rather worn, dining chairs - all six of them. I sort of knew what I wanted and it was both helpful, and enjoyable, chatting through fabric choices, making decisions and then, picking them up, all finished and looking every bit as good as I’d hoped. This is my 2nd chair re-upholstered by Sharon @ Vintique and I absolutely love everything about it. I think there is nothing better than giving a new life to an old piece of furniture and if you're going to do this, there is no better person than Sharon. The service from the Vintique team is seamless and very efficient. Sharon helped me feel confident in choosing bold fabric the first time around, I went even bolder the 2nd time around and my chair is stunning. Most importantly, I love that my piece is truly unique!

Sharon replaced the sofa pads on 2 of our sofas-they were way too soft and collapsed the second you sat on them, meaning they were uncomfortable and unsightly. The process was super quick and efficient and I’m delighted with the result. Transformed sofas without replacing them.
Can’t wait for a bigger project to get the full Sharon treatment!
