my dad bought a range rover from this company just over a year ago, the car had a private plate on when purchased and they said they would get it transferred to the original reg within a few weeks, this meant my dad could not sign a logbook for the car at the time of the sale but they assured him it would be sorted.

a few months down the line they sent new plates for the car but still no logbook, and quite frankly didnt seem to care.

it ended on very bad terms and i would advise no one to ever buy a car from this company to be honest.

terrible customer service and just give off the impression of being general cowboys

if i could give NO stars on this review i would.

I bought a lovely car however, I was point blank lied to about a spare key they were going to post to me- I only realised they hadn't put it in the spare key sleeve when I was about to drive off the forecourt so they said 'don't worry we will find it and post it straight out'. It never arrived, I received verbal abuse from the owner who then proceeded to put the phone down on me and called the Jag I bought 'poxy'. If you enjoy doing business with a moron then go ahead at your own peril. The workers in the garage are lovely but clearly what they say is not upheld by their overbearing, rude, aggressive boss. I really hope karma comes for him swiftly.

Arranged to view a car drove for an hour to see it and when I arrived was told it had been sold. That was annoying! The guy was nice though took me for a drive in another car which I liked but was different to the car I originally wanted to view (x5 and drove a Range Rover) paid a deposit and explained I needed to think about it and if I change my mind I'd like my deposit back. Looked into the mot history and it needed quite a bit of work which worried me, spending loads on a car that needs more money spent on it one of which being the brakes at the legal limit. I asked about this & if the work had been done and got what I can only describe as a child spitting their dummy out! A blunt email saying don't buy the car then! My partner rang and asked someone speak to me about the work it needs but no one ever did so I pulled out of the sale, they did give me my deposit back though.

I spoke to this company on the Thursday and aranged to come and see a car on Saturday with a view to buying it as long as it was as described online. I also called on Friday to confirm that we'd be with them first thing Saturday morning.

Fast forward to Saturday, me and my partner had been driving to the car for about 30 mins when I went on their website to get their postcode and to my horror I saw that the car had been sold.

I phoned them up to clarify the situation and they confirmed that the car had indeed been sold the day before (Friday).

I'm very upset and angry that they did not bother to call me and tell me the car had been sold (they had my number). In addition, me and my partner specifically took time off work to go and view the car so they have wasted both our times.

The guy on the phone did not seem to care that we'd been messed about and all I got was a half hearted apology.

Extremely disappointed with this company.

Absolute professional service. Loved the customer service, the standards of ALL of their cars and there's no messing about. They asked what we wanted and gave us exactly that. Very polite gentleman that have very high standards so if that's what your looking for get down to Hoddesdon motor company. Highly recommended. Thanks lads.

Good customer service from a friendly team when I bought the car. Bought a 4x4 from them 6 month ago and the car's been great, no problems. Would highly recommend.

After spending £32k on a Mercedes Coupé GLC I was promised a missing parcel self cover! Despite numerous calls and the fact I need the cover as I carry expensive equipment for my company no reply to calls and no sign of the parcel shelf...... I’m a patient man but but this is unacceptable.

Tried organising a viewing of a car.. garage said he still had the car so I replied when I could veiw and heard nothing back.. messaged again and the car has been sold. Useless communication. Won't bother again.
