We purchased a car yesterday can’t fault the car as of yet as we have only driven it home and around town. We are happy with the car. We test drove which isn’t much of a test drive. The site is massive and full of many cars. The sales reps all running around and swearing and messing around in a little wooden hut on site. The cars that are test drove when the arrive back on site speed down a small strip of road back to the showroom. I felt so uneasy looking at the cars they had down that road with my daughter as I thought we may be mowed down by these youngsters. Anyway we found a car test drove and was happy to go ahead with purchasing through finance. Me and my partner sat down with the sales rep and he mentioned gap insurance which I personally think is worth having. So we agreed to that. Then we where being pushed for warranty for thousands which we didn’t want. He asked about 5-6 times which we kindly turned down the last attempted the sales rep cut his loss. And was ready to check finance which took over an hour which I’m not to upset about as it was a Sunday. But the collection process is so long winded and more young staff and one you lady swearing in front of me my partner and young daughter. Saying she’s got ‘f**king things to do’ me my partner and daughter was so shocked to here this. All together we was a big motoring world Enfield way to long about 4-5 hours we was hungry and getting frustrated. They had cleaned the car at collection that’s why there was such a delay. They shouldn’t of bothered with cleaning was still dirty. Oh and the hidden £199 admin fee what a rip off. Wouldn’t buy from them again just for there lack of customer services the staff need some serious training they are all very young and think we as a customer owe them something very off putting.

Went to the Enfield branch today as we walked in the manager was out the front of reception with a group of employees and was speaking to them so rudely as customers were coming in. The manager was telling the staff, in front of customers, if they point out a scuff and want money off you tell them no and blame the scuff on them. When we went in we were left waiting for a really long time even though we had an appointment. Throughout the whole experience you spend more time sitting around twiddling your thumbs than being spoke to.

We were dealt with by Ivan who was extremely helpful and efficient and would give him 5 stars but the branch, managers and other service 1 star.

I originally left a 5* review on the customer service I was originally given. However, the events of the last couple of days have had me feel nothing but utter disbelief and astonishment. In a nutshell, I was miss sold the vehicle as it didn’t match the advertisement. The website stated it had certain features I was after so I trusted the company.

During the test drive I was only testing how the car was to drive not certain features. So I agreed to purchase. The next day I came to collect. All the systems were down and we were there for 4 hours.

We then had to take the car just after they had closed. No chance to check anything. After getting home, I noticed the features were not there.

So I rang to hopefully return or swap for another vehicle. The support over the phone was lovely. I was told that maybe there is something that can be done if I went back to the dealer.

Then……all I can say is that the service I received was nothing short of despicable. Not only were myself and my father made to wait easily 30 minutes to be seen, basically being ignored, but Crystal the site manager has to be one of the rudest and cruel people I have ever spoken to. Consistently passive aggressive, insulting our intelligence and made us feel like dirt.

As they say the customer is always right. Well according to her the customer is a moron. I explained the situation as best as I could stating we were miss sold and what had happened the day before etc and that we couldn’t check it.

She went on to say basically say it is our fault, we should have done more as the customer, we shouldn’t have trusted the website. Well I’m sorry, if I see a listing I expect it to be spot on.

All I can say is the the things she said to us were absolutely horrible and disgusting. The list is as long as my arm I cannot lost them here. I have never experienced anything like it. In the end we were made to take a refund at the cost of losing £500.

Not only have they lost the money from my sale, but also lost a sale as my father was intending on buying a vehicle.

Don’t worry though, if it’s the last thing we do that is coming back to us and then some. Don’t go here. STAY AWAY!!

Very impressive selection of cars. Staff are helpful, enthusiastic and keen to work with you and your budget. Can't speak to the quality of the cars as I haven't had mine long... So far so good. But it was well presented and I felt confident buying a car that wasn't at a main dealer. The only thing that takes the shine off was the waiting time. We underestimated the waiting time and in hindsight even with the breakout area for the kids and the refreshment bar. It's just too long a wait for them. I would definitely allow for 3-5 hours if you go at the weekend and if you can, try not to take your small people. Conclusion, lots to choose from, pleasant shopping experience. Allow plenty of time to make your purchase.

I bought a car from big motoring world, everything went smooth from the beginning to the end, I was anxious but was given prompt information. I chose the second car I viewed, then the staff member Ibrahim sorted a good car finance deal for me, he was professional and friendly. I appreciated everything, everyone was nice and efficient. The whole process took almost 4 hours so you may need some time for a car search, the finance etc. I give big motoring world 10/10. Thank you

Difficult review to write so I've broken it into 2 parts; sales and collections teams. Read to the end to understand all.

The bad - sales team. Not actually awful but ensure you do your homework. Tried to sell me a hybrid with the incorrect charger. Then try and sell gap insurance and warranty plans which are pretty expensive. I've got gap insurance online for 1/3 the price. Finally, will tell you that the "collections" team will sort that out, don't believe them. Go and speak to the collection team to check (specifically, when asking about service history). Just be prepared, and don't be overwhelmed by nonsense. If they can't answer a question, press for an answer.

The good - collection team. Wonderful. Know what they are doing and really helpful throughout. 5* for these guys.

Our salesman Ahmad Hossen was excellent, he gave us great advice on our purchase without trying to influence our decision in any way. He was informative and unbiased in his opinion when asked. The choice of vehicle available at this dealer must be hard to match, prices seem competitive, and the operation is very professional. Great experience all round, would highly recommend Big Motoring World.

I read the reviews on this company before going so expected the process of buying and trading in a car to take a while (3.5 hours), but apart from that I was happy with the outcome. I achieved the trade in price I needed and the staff were friendly and informative. Would go again but need to make a day of it.
