Before i applied for car finance with these guys, i looked through their reviews on Facebook, Google etc.. and was very happy with what other people was saying. I decided to apply for finance on a BMW they were selling to which got accepted the next day Rob and I had a chat on the phone regarding the car, finance etc and Rob wasn't pushy at all, answered all my questions in a professional manor. The car did not have any MOT at the time of finance being agreed but Rob assured me that it would and wouldn't have any advisories. I checked the cars MOT and saw that it failed on a few minor things and was an advisory for back break binding, Rob assured me that these would be fixed and proof of this. He was correct, all new breaks all round, new wind screen wipers and a new headlight bulb + a new break caliper also put all 4 brand new tires, car had passed with no advisories for no extra cost to me which i think is brilliant!!
When i turned up a couple of days later to inspect the car and test drive it, i noticed that everything described in the advent was 100% spot on, the car is in immaculate condition (being 7 years old) and drove like it was brand new. Noticed that the left wing mirror, mirror was slightly wobbling so Rob took it off and fixed in on properly (I expect these little things with a used car). When test driving the car, there are no knocks or bangs the steering was straight and the car had plenty of power through every gear and the breaks were very sharp (I expect with new breaks). My mechanic who came with me checked over the car and couldn't find anything wrong, under the bonnet looks brand new.
When i decided to go ahead and purchase the car, Rob rang the finance company and started to get it finalized. This part did take over 3 hours of waiting around but this is not Fareham Car Centre's fault, this is the finance company, also it was the morning of the Royal Wedding so we were expecting delays.
Now (04/06/2018) i have driven over 1000 miles which have been trouble free, no knocks at high speeds, over bumps or anything. Have taken it for a service as was due soon but i always service new cars to me just for my own piece of mind and this mechanic said the same thing to me, couldn't find any fault with the car at all!
I have now received all my 12 month Warranty documents as promised by Rob which is nice to know that even if the car does experience a fault, its all covered.
Rob even gave me a good PX price for my old banger before which was paid for the finance deposit and the rest in cash to me!!
I am very very happy with my purchase from Fareham Car Centre and will recommend to friends and family.
The only suggestion to the guys are Fareham Car Centre would be to deal with the customers warranty documents sooner as i have had a wait over 2 weeks to receive these. Apart from this, you guys have been excellent.
THANK YOU!!!!
Editted for reply. This review is accurate and factual. Only after this review did you change car details. You knew of issues for 2 weeks but never changed anything. This is to make buyers aware and to check all vehicle details like with any dealership. As a business all vehicles be it new, used or part exchanged should be inspected and paperwork checked before being put up for sale. No other paperwork was signed for another vehicle so I was following trading standard guidelines with having my deposit returned. All trust had been lost after I had a chance to get legal advise and check reviews. I should have carried out my own research for this I have learnt a valuable lesson for future car buying.
Making you aware that the "owner" isn't actually a director of said company. He resigned which is abit odd. Make of that what you wish.
Cheers guys
