Terrible dealership. My car broke down after only 700 miles, I was well within the 3 months warranty I was told my car had so thought it would get sorted. After waiting over 8 hours for a recovery from the AA I had been told the EGR needs replacing. I phoned Brad to let him know this and I was told this issue isn't covered under the warranty. Absolutely ridiculous, the website states that every car comes with a 12 month MOT and mine did not, after inspecting it on a ramp I found a number of faults with it and the car is not even MOT worthy. Avoid at all costs, empty promises of a fake warranty and awful customer service.

Wouldn’t recommend
Bought a car in September
Car seems ok but been waiting 7 weeks for warranty & still not got it.
They have now blocked my number and won’t answer calls.
Swerve at all costs

Bought a car from CarwiseUK last week and have to say, glad I never was influenced by their reviews! Outstanding service and Ray was so helpful with giving me advice for the car that I bought. They aren't selling brand new cars, so you have to expect the odd problem but for me, over the moon with new MOT put on the car, very clean, great service and highly recommend.

I purchased a car from Carwise in Epping about 6 months ago now. I had read the reviews before going there and wasn’t too impressed but I still went there to view the car. As I got there the car was ready and clean to be viewed which impressed me, the guy gave me as much time as I wanted to look around the car extensively which I was happy with.

He let me take it out for a test drive when I heard a weird noise coming from the car, as soon as I got back from the drive I mentioned this noise which sounded like a rear differential/gearbox noise. I kindly asked him what this might be as I was still interested in this car. The guy acted as if he knew nothing and I could tell that he did as he started getting all defensive about it, he said he wasn’t a “mechanic” although when I was there half the time he was working underneath his suped up Renault 5 turbo in the corner!

Anyway the noise didn’t bug me too much and the car was decent other than the noise. So I went ahead and purchased the car and as soon as I had bought it, it was as if I was talking to a totally different guy. I had my dad there with me who asked him about his Renault 5 turbo and all of a sudden he was talking about all the mechanical things he had done to his car. So he only knew mechanics when he wanted to, I didn’t find this very useful.

But as for the car I have had it for 6 months now, it’s had a couple of issues but I was expecting that for an older car. I’m really impressed with the car, just wasn’t impressed with the customer service.

Slimy dealership. seemed like a really nice bunch of guys. Very friendly and helpful, however the car had a problem that they obviously masked. The next morning after the purchase the car made an awful sound from engine and was juddering, they must of warmed it up before I viewed it , the thermostat was also broken. After ringing up (a number of times due to them always saying they would ring back but never did) they told me it's not there problem , he also said that if the thermostat isn't showing the car getting hot then it's fine in other words...wanted nothing to do with it once they sold the dodgy vehicle. I've now had to pay ridiculous amounts of money to get it fix. Never again will in go near this place

We bought a lovely car from them, a few things wrong with it, but that's expected to happen with a 12 year old car. Anything expensive they have agreed to fix. We had to chase a couple of times but its getting there. Really good place to buy a used car.

I highly would not recommend/ trust them at all, not very honorable. There were multiple issues with their cars in which I viewed, the clutch did not feel right, yet they assure you that it's fine & mask it with false humor and laughter, as well as sob stories about their kids.
Trust your gut.

My zero out 10 experience with this sub standard company...

Anyone thinking about purchasing a vehicle from this company please read the following.

This is 100% genuine and not a malicious review, merely an honest account of my personal experience dealing with this “trader”, outlining the reasons why I would strongly advise avoiding this trader at all costs.

I recently left a holding deposit on a vehicle after Ray gave me a description of it over the phone. When I went and viewed the vehicle it was clearly not as described.

The vehicle had considerably more damage than Ray had stated over the phone. In addition, when I looked into the vehicle further, it was clear that the MOT on it was suspicious due to a few obvious items like a below standard tyre and bulbs not working. These are obvious items that the vehicle failed on previously as I looked up the online history of it.

When I questioned Ray about the validity of the MOT, he got very angry and aggressive towards me and ordered me to leave the premises immediately. I had not been at all aggressive towards him and it was clear that because I had pulled him up on the MOT failures, he knew he had been rumbled and he wasn’t going to be able to deceive me like many who had gone before me!!

Since my meeting with Ray, I have been trying to get my £450 deposit back that I left in good faith. If you’re taking the time to read this, then you might be thinking of doing similar. Good honest reviews are very helpful when trying to decide to take the plunge and leave a deposit on a car or van.

For me it’s not about the money, it’s all about the principle. My next steps are call trading standards to register a complaint and then on to money claim online where I will get my money back and there will be more costs for Ray to pay in the form of court costs.

Please do yourself a favour and do your research on people selling cars and vans. There are plenty of hard working people out there that won’t treat you this way and deserve your business. Don’t give this man your money. He doesn’t deserve it. Good luck!
