Bought a car ..within 8 weeks the front suspension has failed. Leaving me in the middle of France stranded. Now told oh it’s a 1 month warranty not the usual 3 months any other garage gives . Absolutely disgraceful. I would not buy anything from this lot. One star is too many . AVOID !

Oh .. the bill is €2500 for new shock absorbers both sides and arms .. the garage said it must have been held together by a string .

We recently purchased a Renault Scenic, found to be very helpful had one thing need fixing which they sorted very quickly and efficiently. Would highly recommend going there first when looking for a reasonably priced used car.

Definitely a 5 star from me. I baught a rely nice xc70 from them 2 months ago. I had a problem with it and they sorted it out straight away no hassle. Rely friendly and excellent customer service thank you for a good experience on buying my my first dealership car.

After looking at reviews on their website and the car I was having being priced different on the website I decided not to have the car , we were doing a straight swap and I took my Log Book in , because the opening hours are the same hours I work I asked if they could please post it back to me which they HAVE NOT DONE , I was told by Andy he posted it back to me the day I asked yet he COULD NOT remember what day that was or what time he posted so obviously my Log Book has not been returned to me and now I have had to pay £25 for another one … I would not tell anyone to even think about buying a car from here absolutely disgraceful

Found the car we had been looking for right price and service history brilliant guys in sales Andy did not push the sale left us to make our minds up gave us all service history to look through
Picked the car up on date arranged found a small judder fault rang up was told to drop off to be looked at 3 hrs later fitted with new discs and pads

Brilliant car sales. Second car I’ve had from here. Extremely straight forward and fast to sort the car finance out. Also quick to sort any issues with the cars that need doing. Would definitely recommend. Thank you

Excellent all round. Purchased a Mercedes C220 estate in August 2022.

Initial conversation over the telephone were helpful and accomodating, it was easy to arrange an appointment and all information provided was accurate.

The forecourt is presentable with quality cars and you can expect a quality service. The test drive was longer than expected and we were left in peace to examine the car and felt at no point any obligation.

Payments and collection of the car, which was serviced and MOT'd and minor repairs conducted - cannot fault the experience.

I can't say what their aftercare is like as we bought such a quality car that we haven't needed to contact them. If other areas of the business are anything to go by I certainly wouldn't worry.

Family member purchased car. During test drive noted that there was a fault with the brakes and driver side rear wheel was a problem.Andy assured us that the faults would be resolved, the rear wheel problem was resolved (seized wheel bearing) but brake issue not. Assured the brakes issue was dealt with before purchase. Took car to independant garage who advised there was a drfinite problem and that emergency stop could be compromised. Returned car, Andy arranged for a repair to be undertaken. Asked before picking up if vehicle had been test driven and if issue resolved, assured it was. Braking efficiency not improved, independant garage confirm problem still there, likely to require a new brake master cylinder or ABS brake pump. Both Parts only avialable direct from VW, therefore expensive. Decided to reject the car, no confidenace garage would repair to satisfaction. Further problem developed which may or may not have existed at time of purchase, unable to tell. Rejected car under the Consumer rights Act 2015. Car collected and then garage advised that as the second problem was not their reponsility would not return the full monies paid as required. Decided not to purse to small claims court as liligation can be problematic and may have to commence legal action, incurring legal costs so accpeted the reduced amount to walk away. Subsequently discovered that on the two previous MOT's that that the 'brakes required adjustemnt/repair'. Independant garage i took the vehicle to were surprised that when vehicle passed MOT two days before purchsed, that the problem had not been noted on the MOT.

Update.
Quite a clever answer Andy except it is not correct. My son advised you the day the vehicle was test driven there was a fault with the brakes, nothing was done regarding the braking problem. Subsequently returned and you advised that the seals had been changed not the fitting of a new master brake cylinder and there was no change in the performance of the vehicle braking system. You may have subsequently fitted a brake master cylinder, as indeed that may have solved the probelm.
Very few miles were added to the car whilst my son owned it, in fact the only miles added were driving from his home to garages to try and resolve the issue. The car did not require cleaning as it had barely been driven. The sum deducted from the price paid probably paid for the master cylinder, quite clever! The car was returned because we had lost all confindance in your ability /intention to sort the problem. So your sorry regarding our experaince, well, so are we and other potential buyers may wish to take note. We never did get the free tank of petrol so buyers should check before driving away.
