Bought a couple cars off James, always pleasant to deal with and generally goes above and beyond even when selling his cheaper range. Glad he's got his own garage now. Highly recommended!

Love my new car, excellent customer service that went above and beyond my expectations. I had arranged to view a car on Sat morning, however the lift bringing me from Cornwall broke down, I contacted James, who was really helpful, he held the car for me with a refundable deposit and collected me from the station the following day (his day off) to view the car. The car itself is beautiful, low mileage, showroom standard, all history and receipts included with warranty. Would highly recommend James

1st class all round. Very pleased with my Land Rover. Had a minor fault contacted James was sorted in 2 days. As an older lady on my own was a bit worried about buying a second hand car. Didn’t need to worry about anything James sorted everything. People need to realise they’re buying a second hand car they might have little quirks. I wouldn’t buy privately again. Excellent garage.

Purchased a focus for £1900

A week after I purchased the car, I found rust on the wings. A great deal of it on one side with a large hole and the other side was heading the same way.
(I did not see this when viewing, nor was I made aware of this issue).

I took this back to James who basically shrugged his shoulders and said it was a 'cheap car' he also advised ne that he knew it was there at the point of sale. I was not made aware of this, if I had seen it I wouldn't have bought it.

I recived 3 quotes to fix the wings - £1260, £690 and £960.

I contacted James and said I'd like a refund as this all happened a week after I bought the car. He offered me an opportunity to fix the problem before a refund could be made. (Fair enough)

The car was taken back and James said that he would sort a courtesy car if it was longer than a week.

13 days passed and no courtesy car was offered. No updates as to what was going on. I had to chase James 4 or 5 times for information.

I picked up my car after 13 days and I paid for the repair but I had noticed that my wing mirror was damaged, another part of the car was also slightly damaged and another job that was not completed.

I feel I have been mislead and treated unfairly. I certainly would not buy a car from James again. To also be told that it is just a "cheap car" is also unfair and disappointing.

All round, it has not been a good experience and I certainly would not recommend to anyone.

Stay away people, it's not worth the hassle.

AWFUL AFTER SALES SERVICE

Purchased a BMW X3 from this garage had issues from the day after I got it. The car was taken back for repair kept for 4 days apparently had a service. After collecting car and driving less than 300 miles oil light came on when checked it was empty, no visible signs of oil leak. Car also started making a noise later confirmed to be the differential. Took car back to be looked at again and after over a week of chasing them with emails, calls, texts, Facebook messages and all being ignored I used the chat feature on the website which seemed to get me a reply to be told that it’s normal for a car of that engine size, age and mileage to use that much oil. Took it to my local garage who confirmed it is not normal and is indeed excessive and advised me to return the car. After citizens advice confirming I am within my consumer rights to do so, that is what I did. They had my car for over 4 weeks while I was chasing them for a refund again with endless emails, calls, text messages, most of which were totally ignored. Finally after over 3 months and sending my final court warning letter they agreed to a partial refund at a loss to myself of £495 which I agreed to just to have the ordeal over with and not have the hassle of a court claim. But that was still not the end of it. I went to garage to sign car back to them and get my card refunded. A few hours later no transactions shown in my account. Contacted James yet again and was asked to let him know on Monday if still no refund. Surprise surprise, Monday came and still, no refund. After more ignored calls I got an email asking for my bank details and even when I had sent them it still took over 24 hours for the refund to show up. The absolutely dismal after sales and customer service would have me suggest caution when considering buying from this garage.

Very good value, less expensive, used cars. Friendly, no pressure sales. The cars are very well prepared, my purchase was serviced and MOt'd and fully valeted before I picked it up. The paperwork was all ready and the whole transaction was quick and professional. They even picked me up from the station when I came to collect the vehicle.
They know their market and vehicles and only operate within it which I think helps to ensure a reliable deal/purchase. Definitely worth checking out their stock of vehicles.
Thank you James, the Great Dane fits perfectly!

Saw a car advertised by these guys, I contacted them and got a super quick response, James the guy who was helping us was super helpful with all our enquiries. The car itself was a bargain and is clean and considering its only going to be used for a work vechile from A-B it's perfect, will be using again soon for a new family car!! Highly recommended for reasonable priced cars.
FYI... We drove from east sussex to excter for such a good deal!!

Terrible. Avoid at all costs. Bought a car here three weeks ago now. Engine Management lights came on, called the RAC out to be told the exhaust manifold is leaking. Also the key fob broke and now a fault with the pollution system. There was very little oil in the car also, which l had to top up and the coolant. Also when I paid for the repair myself, was told both front tyres were worn on the inside edge down to the wire and illegal. Phoned the dealership to be told that they have new owners (BS) within a space of a week, and that James (the invisible man) would call me back. It's been another week since l contacted them about the issues and to find a solution to the repair costs as it's under warranty and heard nothing. Two emails also sent and still nothing back. Trading standards will be hearing about this and l will get my repair costs back. Overall, if l could give no star l would. This dealer is dodge as, do not buy anything from him. The responses on here from others that have complained just shows that he clearly doesn't careless what reviews he receives. Words can not describe on here how l dislike the dealer. l don't know how you can live with yourself and take people's hard earned money knowing full well, your selling them faulty goods. Karma works in mysterious ways and l hope it hits you like a ten ton truck.

Update: Still not received my VC5 logbook. To get a replacement will cost me. James, do the right thing and talk to your customers instead of hiding behind a women.Updating you are under new ownership yet still telling people James will contact me, is dodgy. Trading standards have now been contacted regarding the dealership. The warranty Company not answer your calls either. Avoid. Spend your money elsewhere.

New update: car went into the garage as the engine management light came on. As a result of this nightmare l was told the car should be scrapped and would cost a fortune to repair. The chain belt was stretched and major issues with cpu or something like that. The car has since been scrapped. £1800 out of pocket. Avoid this place.
