Cridfords - Porsche Sales, Service, Detailing And Restoration Since 1987

16 years ago I was interested in buying a Porsche. I contacted Jonathan at Cridfords and told him what I was looking for, budget spec, etc. Two days later he called to say he had a car that I might be interested in. i went to see and he was right. I took my 3 year old son to see it and we bought it straight away. I loved that car and over the time it gave me very few issues. Sadly ULEZ struck and I was forced to change my car. I phoned Cridfords and they said they had a car I might be interested in. I took my now 19 year old son to see it and I bought it straight away. The car is excellent, the service was good first time and even better on this visit, and they took my Boxster in part exchange. The only difference this time is that my son has a licence and was trying to convince me that he could drive it home. Genuinely nice people who sell great cars. I have been to a number of dealerships over the years and I can safely say I wouldn’t buy a Porsche anywhere else. Thanks guys, really appreciate you and your company, can’t rate you highly enough.

This is one of the nicest private dealerships out there, bought my car from them and the team has been amazingly helpful with all my queries.

Absolutely recommend this place . Awesome experience and made to feel special buying from here . No probs sorting out paperwork and plate changes for me and the car was put through their well known workshop fully serviced mot’d and anything & everything that needed and didn’t need attention was actioned . New tyres , new brakes pads & discs even though not really needed . To top it all a nice bottle of champagne to go home with 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌

I committed to purchasing a 991.1 through Cridfords - they wouldn’t take a holding deposit but I spoke with the owner Jonathan who agreed to hold the car for me to purchase paying the pay full price and collecting the car this weekend (i therefore arranged plans and transport to the dealership and contacted my bank to make sure I could transfer without delay). Problems started when a mileage discrepancy became apparent with previous maintenance records not matching the stamps in the service book - upon querying with the dealership owner I was told if I felt uneasy about it then this the car wasn’t for me so I shouldn’t purchase. After making travel arrangements to purchase I was told the car is now £3,000 more than the advertised price via the following email; “ unfortunately taking into account what we paid for it and then the work we have had to carry out we will need to attain a lot closer to the new asking price I’m afraid. We should have prepared the car and then marketed it, it was very clean visually so we made an error on prep costs.” I would recommend anyone considering a purchase from this dealer to do a very thorough independent background research on the vehicle and proceed with caution.

Having looked a cars from a few garages, I was very impressed by the service from Cridfords. Upon first viewing the car I was looked after by Jonathan and the team, who were all extremely friendly and helpful. Having unfortunately picked up a puncture traveling there that I was unaware of, the workshop team were increasingly helpful trying to get it resolved and sourcing a new tyre.
Upon collecting the car I was picked up by Jonathan at the station and again the service was excellent.
As part of a pre-collection inspection by the workshop team they were extremely thorough, renewing the front disc's and pads and even choosing to change two rear tyres, none of which I noticed any issued with when I originally viewed the car.
Before leaving I was given a full overview of the car and all of its settings, with Jonathan even giving me his phone charging cable so I could connect the apple play in the car. This was on top of the surprise Cridfords mug and bottle of English Cuvee, which we are still to enjoy.
Overall I was thoroughly impressed by the service from Cridfords, and would have no issues recommending them if you are considering purchasing a car from them.

I cannot recommend Cridfords enough if you are looking for a high quality used Porsche.
I purchased my first Porsche from them recently and the whole experience was faultless.

After seeing a low mileage, one owner Cayman on their website I called to arranged a viewing that day.
Upon arrival I met Michael and he showed me around the car and we went out for a test drive, when we returned to the dealership I placed a deposit.There was no hard sell,I really liked the no pressure approach.

A few days later I called and asked when the car would be ready to collect and on the agreed day I arrived and the car was ready with a full service,full inspection, a fresh MOT and looking stunning.

The handover was handled professionally by Shaun, who gave me a detailed demonstration of the cars features,I asked a few questions and nothing was too much trouble and when we had completed all the paperwork off I went.
