Very bad experience recently,dealer looked very professional.Bought a golf 2010 deisel.100000 mileage.In 2 months engine trouble and turbo gone completely,invested £850 to fix it..Always go for warranty sales for atleast 6 months,I tried to contact him and explain my situation now .No answer.

Bought a car April 2022 for my 17 year old son. David Bradley (Chipperfield Cars, or Bradley motors) seemed a really genuine and nice guy. Car was apparently serviced and passed MOT with no advisories the week before. I was told sale included a 3 month mechanical warranty (not to include wear and tear). On the drive home I noticed a clunking sound from rear suspension, and also discovered the windscreen washers were not working. I took the car to my local garage the next day where they diagnosed and fixed a faulty washer pump (should have failed MOT), and excessive wear in both rear axle suspension bushes (MOT advisory item). My 17 year old son is distraught to have a £400 garage bill in the first week of owning a car. Tried to contact David several times by email and telephone, but have had no response whatsoever. *BE WARNED* MOT Test certificate not worth the paper it's written on, and don't believe any talk of warranty. The worst thing is, I thought he was a nice guy, but has turned out just to be another dodgy and dishonest car dealer. You have been warned!
