Recently came to view a land rover defender 110 as had my heart set on it, the vehicle was exactly what I was looking for. The customer service was second to none any queries were dealt with immediately. Very happy with my new defender that has left me over the moon in love with my new car. It was ready for collection 5 days after viewing.

I was able to drive away my new car this afternoon.

Purchased a van from James, found James very easy to approach and easy to deal with, friendly and was able to communicate with ease . He answered all my queries very efficiently, van was given full service , and a good check over before I collected it. Very happy with my van 😊.

Sold an UNSAFE vehicle and they wouldn’t even honour their warranty. (Wood screw holding together the brakes and worse). Once the vehicle was sold, they stopped communicating or even trying to compromise on repair costs to get the vehicle to pass an inspection. Very obvious and apparent hazards that made this vehicle unable to be driven. DO NOT EXPORT WITH THIS COMPANY!

I bought this vehicle back in May this year(2022} I was a bit dubious at first having not owned a Defender before . I need not have worried as I absolutely love it . Good company to deal with.

Spoke to James’s very helpful great communication from start to finish was very important as we was travelling from Scotland to get a buy a vehicle got there was exactly as it was explained on the phone pictures was very good on the website but done the car no justice very pleased with car an fantastic communication and customer service thanks very much if I need a vehicle in the future we will definitely consider you

I very rarely leave reviews, however, it's worth me taking the time to share my experience. We bought a Defender 90 recently. We met Jimmy at the site who spent time explaining the honest experience of owning a defender which was refreshing. We agreed to buy the car subject to a few things being addressed. The car was ready within a week which we were happy with. After collecting the car I and returning home I noticed a few issues. I wasn't sure if these were 'standard' issues and a typical experience of owning a Defender. I contacted James (Jimmy's son) and he arranged for the car to be collected and inspected with no quibble. Dan picked up the car a couple of days later and took it back for work to be carried out. He delivered it back a week later with all the issues fixed. Given the car is over 25 years old, I expected there to be a few issues and was hesitant about buying a Defender because I might have difficulties dealing with a dealer post-sale if there were problems. I can safely say my experience with Johnsons has been first class. Jimmy, James and Dan have been fantastic. It's been a pleasure dealing with them.

Contacted James via eBay enquiring about a Discovery. Initially very responsive but had no response to my last 2 messages. Unfortunately will be purchasing from elsewhere but was keen on the vehicle they had.
