We bought a car back in May, and the vehicle and the entire experience was great. However, the advert (which we have a copy of still) stated space saver spare wheel, and we have asked about a second key as the car memory said that three keys are programmed to the vehicle. The salesman quickly promised to order the wheel and sort out the spare key, but it will take a month. He suggested to phone him after 2-3weeks to remind him to check, which we did, but the wheel and key weren't in. Since then, we have exchanged seven emails, which clear track we have saved, and the last two he didn't bother responding to at all.
We have asked multiple times that we go on holiday and having everything we need in terms of safety is essential, but we've been sent off with some more lies. Now we returned from the holidays, luckily without any unexpected problems, and still no response back to the last email.
Good advice, read the advert and ensure everything outstanding is added when collecting the vehicle as you have no chance after of getting it. Do not believe it will be sorted and you can collect it later as I did. I will keep chasing every week till I receive what was promised as this is an awful way to treat the customer!
Found the Car we liked at the Exeter Store the salesman Nathan was very helpful. This was after we had a very negative experience with a online car buying website. The purchase was so easy and straight forward dealing with a actual person. Have to say though the quality of valeting was average. On first viewing the car I noticed a scuff in the front wing so I asked if it could be polished out. On picking it up it was still there so I did it my self in 5mins. Really like the car and car store have supplied us with new mats now which has finished it off lovely. Many thanks.
If I could give less than a star I would. We bought a car early September (2017 plate) and was told it needed the cambelt doing and other little bits and that they’d book the car in and to bring it back. Well, 3 months on, we’re still fighting to get the work done. In the mean time the engine light keeps coming on, they sold the car to us with little to no engine oil in, the cambelt, water pump and DSG needed doing and a major car part is damaged under neath (found by local trusted garage). The team have been absolutely shocking in their service. No cares given!! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AN ABSOLUTE WASTE OF TIME!!!!! Just do yourself a favour and avoid like the plague!! Cars are horrifically over priced and obviously in so fit state to be sold. Completely regret buying this car from this dealership.
