Forest Town Car Sales

Bought a car for 1200. Looked immaculate. Took it for a test drive fine. Went to pull out of the garage and the battery was flat so he changed it. Was advised there was no MOT advisories other than the wing mirror and no niggles. Had it for three months before it needed repairs. The mechanic said that the dealer must have known if he did the mot which he did. Now it's dashboard light bingo. This car wasn't worth the money and the mechanic I use is adamant that they would have known about some of the faults as some should have presented when doing the mot. Just what I needed. Just to add the update that I have taken it to the MOT. When the car was taken to him it had failed it's MOT. He passed it a day later. The reason it failed was exactly the same reasons listed on the MOT prior to him passing it.

Sold me a car that had previously been in an accident, without telling me. I suppose taking advantage of a young inexperienced new driver is that easy, but hey. Ended up £2000 out of pocket for it. Overall an unreliable car after a week or so of having it the suspension began to play up and the exhaust started blowing, despite being informed everything had been checked beforehand etc, cost me even more money to fix the issues, had to sell in the end as it wasn’t worth draining my bank account.

I went in to see the guys at Forest town car sales to see if they could source me a vehicle they did not have on the forecourt. In a matter of days they got me my desired car, put a mot on it, new tyres and valeted it for me! Nothing was too much trouble and the price was very competitive. Can’t recommed enough will definitely be going back for a new car for my partner soon.

Drove up to test drive a Clio, it drove fine and we agreed that I'd take it, that I'd pick it up the next day and I would only ring him if there was a problem. The next morning I text just out of courtesy to let him know I'm insuring the car and will be there in an hour to make payment and he's sold it to someone else. Thanks for nothing.

Just brought a Jaguar XF which is a great car, both the guys at the dealership were friendly, courtesy and went above and beyond what you normally get at a used car dealers. Had a minor problem which was sorted straight away with speed and a professional attitude. Will use again and would also highly recommend.

Bought a Fiat Panda for my folks, Covid safe transaction, car in superb condition, just before delivery they found a fault that I had not seen (many would not have been so honest) , they sorted it spending over 10% of sale price getting it fixed and kept me informed all along, I can honestly recommend them
