I must admit I wasn't relishing buying a used car but when we arrived the car was better than described on Auto Trader. Martin greeted us and made my and I feel like we had come to the right place. The car was gleaming we took the Ford Mondeo out for a run and it was just what we wanted. There were no pushy sales tactics, and we were allowed time to look round the car on our own which made a nice change. The transaction went very smoothly and Martin assured us that if any problems arise in the three months warranty just to contact him. About week after buying the car the cars software was saying the battery had a fault. After contacting Martin we had the battery tested and sure enough the car was right. We were able to have a new one fitted locally and Bassetlaw Automative paid all the costs. Thanks Martin a very friendly and genuine salesmen and would recommend to anyone.

I came across Martin of Bassetlaw Automotive through Auto-trader. Having looked through numerous companies and sites, I decided to have a look at a Mini Cooper Bassetlaw Automotive were advertising.
From start to finish, Martin was open, transparent and honest. He gave me options as how to view, test drive and get the mini to me. Martin offered to drive over 100 miles to get the mini to me.
I decided to travel to Doncaster on the 26th April, where it was a pleasure to meet Martin.
I purchased the mini with a 3 month warranty.
There were no airs and graces and no pressure what so ever to buy the mini.
I drove the mini back home and there were no issues.
It was lovely to do business with Martin. Highly recommended indeed.

Recently purchased an MX5 from Martin. As we live in N.Ireland we purchased not having seen the vehicle in real life. The description and information provided my Martin was 100% accurate. We arranged for transportation of the vehicle by a local haulier and Martin was more than helpful and cooperative in assisting with this.
When the car arrived it exceeded our expectations.....it is fantastic!!

Purchased an Alfa Romeo through Martin, I can honestly say I’ve never had such a pleasant and easy service. I had a great experience buying a car from Bassetlaw Motors. From start to finish Martin was friendly, open, honest and even delivered the car to my home (60 miles away). It had a 3 month warranty and when there was an issue with door locking in this time, this was sorted without fuss.

Martin was great from start to finish with purchasing my new car. Very relaxed atmosphere with no pushy sales and accommodating with the out of hour times I were able to view the car. No faults at all were found with the car even based on a mechanics assessment. You can tell he’s very passionate about his work and doesn’t sell any old car he can get his hands on to make a quick buck.
