D & L Motors

I've been taking my various cars to D and L Motors for several years now and have always had a positive experience. Mark and Rob are honest, reliable and trustworthy chaps who always advise on options if necessary and aren't out to make a quick buck out of anyone. They really do know their stuff and what Rob doesn't know about German Motors isn't worth knowing. I definitely recommend them.

I bought my Kia from here 2022.
These guys are fantastic. Honest and first class. The advert was so detailed, so I knew exactly what I was coming to see from the start. I travelled 4 hours to see the car four days later, but had no worries that it wouldn't be there for me to view.
Mark waited for me to arrive and there was no hard sell or pressure. We were left to look around the car and all questions were answered.
I felt completely confident buying the car. The car is everything he said it was. Runs perfectly, exceptional mileage, everything works as it should and their customer service is absolutely second to none. I'm 100% happy with my car and if I ever wanted another car, I would travel the distance and buy from these fantastic guys again, without a second thought.
I'd highly recommend D&L Motors to anyone looking for a high quality used car.

Great people mark & Rob, very knowledgeable, no pressure very helpful with all paperwork etc, made sure the freelander was A1 before it went out. Highly recommend, will definitely use again.

A refreshingly decent and honest dealer in an industry unfortunately filled with bad actors, Mark held onto an XC60 Volvo for us without a deposit whilst we travelled 2 hours to come view it, the approach from this dealer was very good, allowed us to have a really good look around the vehicle without anyone hovering over us, any questions we had were swiftly answered. We decided to go home without buying the XC60 purely because we needed some time to think about it and sleep on it (buying a used car is a big commitment), in which Mark had no problem with.

We decided the next day to go ahead with the sale, Mark was very quick to answer and help us get into the car on the same day as we were going abroad so needed the car asap, he got it in for the MOT on the same day (without even asking for a deposit or for us to pay for it), he wouldn’t let us take the car without a fresh 12 month MOT (obviously takes pride in his vehicles), the history on the car was impeccable compared to similar priced examples, a real gem in the rough.

All in all a fantastic dealer, a very nice guy who takes pride in the stock he sells, would absolutely use him again and would recommend him to anyone looking for a used car, really good experience, even slapped £50 of diesel in the car to ensure we had enough to get home.

Just bought a Volvo from these blokes and have to say it was the best experience you could wish for from a garage. They’re not a garage looking for a quick flip but one that will sort a car before it leaves. I would definitely buy from them again.

We have recently bought a Volvo XC60 from here. We are extremely pleased with the level of service that we have received. They wouldn’t let the car out of the worship without fixing the advisories on the MOT. The car was thoroughly checked and even minor faults, such as replacing the faded front Volvo badge, were dealt with. Nothing was too much trouble.
Will definitely go back when we replace this one in a couple of years. Highly recommended.
