Citroen C1 purchase. Absolutely love my C1. My first Citroen and she drives superb. Garage is A1! I can see that most reviews of AP Motors are good but my experience wasn't. A day after buying my Ford Fiesta in February I had to take it back because of a horrible noise from the front wheel: Alf told me it was grit under a brake pad and he adjusted it. A few days later, there was another horrible noise from the same place and Alf told me it was a bearing on the nearside and replaced it. I specifically asked if the bearings on the other side were fine and was told they were. Just before the warranty expired at 3 months, the car developed severe juddering: I checked with another local mechanic who confirmed it needed new front brake pads and discs - I took it back to Alf who did this but I couldn't understand how this hadn't been picked up the first time I had returned. Now the car is a month out of warranty, it has become very noisy again and I have again gone to a different mechanic I have used reliably over many years, who has told me a bearing on the offside is worn and two tyres also need replacing (total cost £400). Again I would assume this would have been obvious at the time the car was sold. Maybe I was just Alf's one unlucky customer.

I was very impressed with the service I received when buying a car from here recently. Everything was sorted out very quickly and painlessly. 12 months MOT and a service was carried out before I collected the car and extra jobs were done that weren't absolutely necessary. Highly recommended.

I recently purchased a bright green Vauxhall Corsa - my first car.
Alf has made this experience so enjoyable. When we first viewed the car he had only just received it and a few things needing doing to it. Once I paid my deposit I was told certain things would be done on my car before I returned to collect it.
When I arrived back to Alf to collect my car he had, had loads of extra things done to the car - 4 new tyres, re-spray, disk pads, new battery etc, some things that didn't need doing for at least another 12 months!
He certainly looks after his customers. He was a pleasure to deal with and someone who I feel is very trustworthy and honest. I will 100% be back in the future!
