Very large store of second hand items. Furniture including old designs and new, a good selection of wardrobes, lighting and bric a brac. Not too badly priced either. We saw a great bicycle which if you needed a really good ride was at a good price. Parking is free for 30mins but only in the yellow area!! Pay and display is cheap tho😊

I can't really give a charity shop a bad rating, they had a good selection of furniture in store, but all the electrical items seemed to be brand new? I found this odd when obviously people (like myself) are visiting to purchase new furniture on a budget, and not buy brand new white goods. If that's what we wanted then we would have gone to Currys. But never the less very friendly staff and a great selection of second hand furniture.

We bought a relatively expensive wall unit from Emmaus Preston's website.
None of items faults listed on description- scratches, cupmarks etc

Also item arrived without keys- needed for all doors.
Contacted Emmays to discuss and was told " listing doesn't mention keys so nothing you can do" I advised that whilst the listing didn't mention keys it also didn't say that keys were needed to keep the doors closed. Failure to list relevant information is important. Was advised that i'd be contacted to discuss further with someone more senior.
7 days later and still waiting.

Have contacted trading standards.

I visited this morning looking for a small sofa. Staff were helpful and managed to find something to suit our budget and size. Delivery arranged for end of next week. Faster than DFS and supports a good cause

No were to park even though they have a carpark an only l person in store when I was there gudluck with that assuming it's used for the workers who are building near there but need to think about Ur costumers.i no it's a charity but £90 for a falling apart wardrobe is unbelievable tbh

A huge place with helpful staff but very limited range. 98% of sofas were soiled and battered but I was fortunate enough to find one lovely suite. No clothes, ornaments, pictures, bedding or soft furnishings but rack after rack after rack of books, videos and DVDs. The store needs to get rid of most of the rubbish furniture and extend their range to attract customers.

Brilliant place to go for used second hand funiture, they have all sorts, most really good quality and so cheap. Always good to buy used instead of new stuff and support a great charity too. Thank you so much to Becky at the big Preston store, you were really approachable and helpful explaining the process and delivery too. Will definitely go again, recommended.
