Tone Dale House had thought of everything and their careful attention to detail made the stay even more exceptional.
The house is perfect, plenty of room for guests, all the bedrooms equally luxurious. The Old Laundry bedroom suite is out of this world. Beautiful gardens at the back and a games room and party room in addition to the reception rooms for less clement weather.
They had thought of everything, more crockery and glasses than you could use, ample fridge and dishwasher space and table linen. The catering team were excellent too.
Everything for a perfect stay.

We booked the house and stable block for our wedding celebrations. Our guests ages ranged from 7 to 80 and there was something for everyone. The hot tub, party room and games room were a huge hit and the beautiful drawing room was a lovely place to just relax. The grounds are stunning. Peter was extremely helpful from booking right through to check out. This is a wonderful venue for a special occasion or just to have fun & relax with family and friends. Jean Taylor.

Had a stag do at Tone Dale House and it was a perfect location. Everyone had a great time and it was really well set up for a party with 28 people.

The secret door through to the coffee shop was a game changer the next day.

Wonderful stay in a very well equipped, large house. Plenty of room for 18 of us. It was so great that we didn't leave the house during the week we stayed there as plenty to occupy adults, teenagers and younger children. Would highly recommend and considering returning again next year.

We hired Tonedale for a big family weekend party. The house was exceptional - very spacious, comfortable and well-equipped, plus lots of historical interest. Great being able to sit our party of 29 down together, both inside and in the garden (being a very mild October). Also excellent communication from the team, very helpful.

We stayed at Tatam House it is a beautiful house, however turning up on the first Friday in December to no hot water and no heating and staying for two nights wasn't the best start. Costing up to £340 per person for 2 nights to stay in a freezing cold house and no hot water to have shower or a bath. My bedroom felt damp where it was so cold I had to use blankets and extra clothes and hot water bottle to keep warm. As this was our first big family get together since COVID we were all quite disappointed, it was such a shame. I don't think I will be returning or recommending The Big House Company.
