A fantastic place to stay - the location is stunning with wonderful views. The standard of accommodation is unquestionably 5* - my daughter's comment was ' I could live here' .The cottage is very well equipped and the welcome pack including a bottle of wine was greatly appreciated. We were there for a weekend for our nephew's wedding but certainly hope to return for longer soon. Fiona and Bryan are the ideal hosts - nothing was too much trouble for them including driving us to the wedding when we woke up to thick snow! Our daughters were delighted at being shown the new calf (even though they are 27 and 23) and despite being 'townies' loved every minute of their stay. I cannot recommend the Bull Pens highly enough.

We stayed here September 2016. Great location if you want to get away from the rat race and enjoy rural Wales. Great views, accommodation and hosts. We even got great weather. Our kids had a great time with the park and games barn on hand.

Track & Trace: ✅ Social distancing: ✅ Internet Speed: approx 5-8 Mbps, if you are planning to work from home, its not good for 2 concurrent video calls. There is no cellular connectivity for Vodafone and EE.
A serene couple of cottages in the heart of Brecon. Cozy and spacious, with large fully installed kitchen. The kitchen has everything you would need for the most sophisticated cooking 🧑🍳 you’d wanna do. We stayed in the lower bullpens. The living area, dining room are well lit and underfloor warmed with comfortable furniture. Thoughtfully placed small tables. The bedrooms have ample access to breeze should you need it. The bathrooms don’t need light 💡 during the day.
The local scene is a bit dull, but dont hold yourself, Brecon is just 20 mins drive away and has everything you need including 3 large supermarkets.

Great Sunday lunch, rang back as promised. Really like dogs. Would highly recommend. Would go more often if it was closer to home.
