Great guys really helpful. They make it clear from the beginning that they don't want to mess you about nor be messed about. Straight talking, no hidden extras, making everything clear from the off. What they offer is good value.

I'll be using them again. Nb. Pindar Road is one way, and they are 3/4's of the way down, on the right, behind Hoddesdon tyre and garage services.

Found Helix Van Sales/Practical Hire on EBay when I was searching for a new pick up. I messaged them quite a few times with various questions/queries & Jack was so helpful for me I can't recommend him/the company highly enough.
Coming from the motor trade myself I took the vehicle for a test drive and tested everything with a fine tooth comb, all the concerns I had were happily taken onboard and rectified. Quality service on there behalf. From there on l spoke with Mick who kept me informed on the progress and made arrangements for me to collect.
All in all I'm very impressed from my whole experience with them. A big thank you.

Needed a car urgently same day after my car broke down and they were the only ones up to the task! Friendly helpful and able to put up with the fussiest of customers (me) got a little red good condition fiat 500 for 3 days at £72. Bargain! They even waivered a slightly late return. Totally recommended, thanks guys!

Excellent can hire service, I was really impressed by the customer service, I was in a pickle as had just moved house and was waiting for my driving licence to be returned with the new address but needed a van urgently, after having to cancel my booked hire at another unhelpful company, Jack was extremely helpful in helping me to get paperwork sorted to hire from them, he was very prompt to get everything organised and a pleasure to deal with. I was also able to leave my own car securely with them overnight, making the hire very easy and seamless. Van was great too, served the purpose. Will definitely hire from here again and would highly recommend.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I had originally booked a CitySprint van to take all of my wedding bits up to our venue the day before our Wedding, they turned up with the wrong sized van and couldn't send us a new one. At 5pm on a Friday, Practical saved the day and sent us a van within 15 minutes of calling! Our stuff got there safe and sound and within the hour - Practical are professional, reliable and I can't thank them enough! Big shout out to Fred the driver and Jack in the office :)

I've hired many different size vans over the past year from a few van hire centres in Hoddesdon. But without any doubt I have found Practical Car and Van hire to be the far better choice to hire from. The price is always a big deciding factor and Practical pricing is very good. Another great point about Practical is they don't push hard in persuading you to take out additional damage waiver insurance, not like another van hire centre just around the corner from practical!
Practical have a wide choice the vans to choose from and all are new and kept in good condition. Plus if your wanting to help save the planet Practical also have electric vans to choose from. The people at Practical are friendly and helpful and this makes the hiring a van and all round good experience. Thanks again to Practical for the great service.

Great little option for anyone looking to hire a van. Painless to hire from such friendly staff and the van's themselves are in top condition. Android auto and all that jazz. I'll definitely be using them again when I need a run around van.
