Northgate Vehicle Hire - Egham

The staff here are very friendly,especially the yard staff,the ones who help you to your vehicle,move vehicles and fuel and wash your vans if necessary.Would have given five stars but getting there on public transport can be a pain.Nearest station is ehgam which is a 2 mile walk.

Took a Northgate hire van in with and engine light which I see as a major inconvenience and going out my way to solve the hire companies issue and should take up the minimum amount of my time.
I was kept waiting (just over an hour) and not given any indication of how long I would be which was the most annoying thing.
Also the milk for tea and coffee had ran out. Couldn't be bothered to ask for some from the staff as they seem overworked and short of time.
I had no reason given for engine light. So Im guessing that's an irrelevant issue. But it was removed.
Could do a lot better EDIT: second visit was a lot better and efficient. Shame about the first visit.

Really bad service. Vans very poor quality always breaking wiht exactly the same issue. Lost so much time and money with the business vans being out of action.

Theses guys are as organised as a chimps tea party , I’ve lost count how many hours I’ve spent waiting in their car park for vans that don’t exist. Seems that getting vans exchanged for repairs or servicing is as Easy as splitting the atom .

The customer service is diabolical. If you actually manage to get someone's attention, you will likely be on the receiving end of a bad attitude and rudeness. The staff forget that they are employees and paid to do a job, not treat customers as if they are so inconvenience.

Not easy to find a vehicle for me.

Not going to lie about but it was one of the worst experience ever had here.
Came here to change a spare tyre and with the excuses about the van which need services, the mechanic has changed all the tyres plus the substitute tyre; all of that without my permission of course.
I made a complaint about that but the response was in a badly way.
Just pay attention and never be distracted when they operate the vehicle. I did, and I regret that.
Very bad experience.
