Practical Car & Van Rental Slough

First time I've used the company and was extremely impressed with the service. They were really helpful with the need to change the hire date after making my initial booking and on the day the service was everything you wish for - polite, efficient staff and a good vehicle. A much better experience than I've had hiring through other companies - and at a better price. I will be using them again and I would highly recommend to anyone who needs a Van or Car rental.

Absolutely awful company to deal with - THEY CHARGE YOU FOR DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE THAT YOU DIDN'T DO. DO NOT USE THIS RIP OFF COMPANY. THEY LIE TO YOU. A very unhappy customer. Our company will not use Practical again. Unbelievable. They will try to say they cannot locate a rental as a way of telling others it cannot be true. Believe me, it is.

Rented a van to pick 4 meter item. Paid extra for size and unlimited milage. When drove to the location 250miles later only to find out the van can only fir 3.8. When asked for refund staff was rude. So I took it online to let others know. I was called that I was using religious phrases because I am a Muslim but not practicing it. The religion has nothing to do with bad service provide by this company. The staff member then ask me to leave the office whilst all other customers were waiting and wait outside. He was adamant that the vehicle he supplied is 4 meter. Another customer helped intervene and offered to measure the van. He his findings were that the van is 3.8 meters. The staff member statered calleing names and saying people like you are affecting our buisness and its all about money for me. I genuinely was disgusted at the gentleman's behaviour. I do expect the company to refund me in full and the fuel for the mileage.

Needed a van for 1 day and picked them up because they were the cheapest and closest to me. I was very surprised with the service they provided. The young man at reception explained me everything and within 2 minutes, I had already signed everything needed and was checking the van with his colleague. When I came back, I parked the van outside the door and the man came to inspect it while I was heading to the reception. Within 2 minutes again, the van was already inspected and the deposit was returned back to my account. I was very surprised by the service, definitely didn’t expect to be this easy considering the fact that they were cheaper than any other company. I would definitely recommend to anyone to use them!

Excellent family run business that has great customer communications & care. I found the staff, helpful, polite, efficient, personable & the price was excellent for a new Peugeot van that I rented for the weekend. Very impressed & will use again when required. Thanks to the team at Practical.
