Hazelmere Crossroads is one of the best vets practices I have been to.I always see Either Kate or Sally both extremely professional and very reassuring when it comes to making any decision for my dogs. The team of ladies on the reception are very welcoming and friendly taking the time to listen and help where they can. I would highly recommend this vets practice.

Marley's first visit to Crossroada vets. Marley is just a year old Cocker, Staff are welcoming, waiting room lovely and clean, air conditioning on too in this hot weather is just what the pets need. Vet was very gentle and kind. Marley obviously felt this too as when she checked his heart, he gave her a kiss 😘
Highley recommended. 10 out of 10 for this surgery.

I'm afraid that after 9 years of being with this practice I feel incredibly let down at a time where I should be supported as an existing client.

My cat has developed a lump on his side and after calling the emergency line and being encouraged to call the practice on Monday morning for an appointment to be then told there are no vets at Hazelmere until Wed's or Thurs and then there are no appointments.

The soonest appointment would be in Wycombe (a practice my cat is not familiar with and to which he would have to endure a car journey to get there, which he barely tolerates to a vet that is on my doorstep.) will only add to his stress levels.

To make matters worse I am then told that as my cat is eating and drinking, being 16 and in pain from this lump is not considered an emergency.

What is the point in a practice in Hazelmere with no vets ? What are they actually doing at Hazelmere?

And I agree the out of hours service is poor . The ethos seems to be to encourage patients to use the out of hours service to increase revenue streams .

I have heard locally other pet owners complaining about this practice but I have never believed it because I have literally never before had issues. but lately standards of service has declined to an disappointing level of support.

Reception team are always incredibly kind and helpful and all the vets we have seen both in Hazlemere and High Wycombe have been wonderful. My older dog had to be put down just before Christmas and the team were exceptionally kind and professional. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
