Sherwood Vets

All of the vets working here are excellent at what they do. I see David most often and he is always happy to explain his thoughts and findings and answer any questions I have. Every time I visit I learn something new. The vet nurses and receptionists are all lovely too. I moved to Hampshire last year and still bring my cats to this practice because I wouldn't want them seen anywhere else and thankfully they all travel well.

My first time I took my kitten to sherwood vets and i must say all staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. Lovely team Extremely happy that I found a good vet. Highly recommend

Sherwood Vets are the best. I have been taking our animals to the Hampton branch for years. The whole team are great and give the best care always. They are very reasonably priced and never advise unnecessary treatment unlike some vets. David Platten is amazing. He treated my dog Milo for diabetes years ago and what i was most impressed with was David’s honesty and straightforward talking, which i really appreciate. Our cat Lulu has immunity problems and David takes so much time to explain everything in detail and is so obviously passionate and deeply caring about his job and the animals he cares for. We trust him completely and would never use another vet even if we moved away from the area!! Your stuck with us!! Vet of the Year by far in our book.

Our family have been going to Sherwood Vets at Hampton for many years and would highly recommend them.All the team are kind ,understanding and helpful.
Last week our beloved elderly cat Horace suffered a sudden stroke.
We cannot thank David Platten enough for his kindness ,honesty empathy and personal touch at what was a difficult and upsetting time.
He truly cares for animals and their welfare.

Got there with our little one (6 year old Maltese Cross) suffering, from what we thought it might be kennel cough. The vet confirmed, and gave her a treatment that helped her in about 3 days. Great service and we where able to see them the same day that we called for an appointment. Still a great vet service after all these years.

I would highly recommend any one bringing there animals to this vets they are all fantastic!!
My house cat Sox jumped out of our 3rd floor window and we didn't find him till nearly 4 weeks after.
We caught him in the bushes near by and realised he was badly hurt and burnt on his back we took him to Sherwood vets and they stiched him up and treated his burns two weeks on we are still seeing them as he had such a horrific injuries.
If it wasn't for the vets treating him so quickly he wouldn't be with us today i thank all the members of staff involved and cant wait till 100% better....

Just moved to the area and our dog swallowed an object he wasn't supposed to. They saw us right away and sorted him out all within 20 minutes. Thank you for being so kind, helpful, patient and attentive! Happy to now have found our vet :)
