I don't write reviews, but I think finding vet can be really stressful. We went to highgate vet becuase of the reviews about the kindness of the staff and the fair prices. We do not live at all close, but it was important to me that the vet was independent. We were not disappointed. Unlike many other practices we called, they did not push any vacccines or services. They were absolutely so incredible and welcoming with our 10 week old puppy Basil. He even got a very stylish mug. We had a bit of scare with him, and Alan wrote us a very thorough and thoughtful email with advice on what to do the same day. I feel in really safe hands.

Update: Out pup has gotten a couple of puppy sniffles and upset stomach issues and the team have been unbelievably kind and helpful with him. Truly fantastic!

The best vets I have ever been to. Staff are lovely and friendly and always go the extra mile to give advice. They seem to genuinely love the job and they make little Merry feel at ease. Thank you so much!

This vet is amazing. There is no one better to look after your animals. My mums dog was poorly for a while. Allan was only one to be able to find out he had diabetes. He's honest and very genuine. Best in the UK!

Jenny and her team at Highgate have been amazing, providing exceptional care and service. Beccy has been particularly amazing when dealing with my cat’s tricky health recently. She’s clearly explained everything, answered all my questions and given solid follow up care and a friendly face/service. Thanks and highly recommend!

Should be no stars. It's all about the money, money, money! This is no longer our lovely Alans' veterinary practice. This woman apparently brought the business from Alan. Sadly, she does not have Alans' ethos, Alan was a pillar in the community and I don't this woman is!
When I came in with my dog the vet was in the reception, and she completely ignored me as did her receptionist. They also wanted to charge me around 60.00 for asking a single question. The question was, how much would it cost to sedate my dog to have her nails clipped?!
I pointed out that Alan would have come out to reception and given a polite and friendly estimate... I complained and I received an email about their overheads and costs and needing to make a profit.

Alan was lovely, this woman is not. We went to The RVC Beaumont Sainsbury Animal Hospital where everyone was lovely.

We left and have heard other locals have to.

Lastly, there was no miscommunication as the comment says below, they put the email about needing to make a profit and overheads in writing.

Please think before taking your pet to Highgate Veterinary Clinic. All good reviews were from previous ownership of the clinic before it was taken over by Dr Jenny and her partner. It’s extremely clear that they have no compassion for pet or owner. Processes are carried out with monetary gain behind them. It also clear Dr Jenny has poor attitude and lack of care and compassion for her patients. I hope no one else has to go through the same experience my auntie did!

The vet and nurse run to my house in the snow when my little yorkie collapsed. I couldn't drive cos of weather. Sadly it was too late my baby had already passed when the vet took her from my arms.

What an amazing vets xxx thank you for being so caring and coming to me last week x

Reviews seem to be all of a sudden flooded with positive feedback it seems Jenny is concerned that the community is realising that her compassion for animals is non existent.

The treatment and disrespect I received from this lady - I was in absolute shock but had to remain calm as my cats health was my priority. Unfortunately my baby Fifi has passed. Please please please bare in mind when attending this clinic all reviews prior to a year to 10 months are for previous owner which has no relation to Jenny. She is now flooding the business with good reviews as it’s evident her ethics are off.

Jenny also seems to dislike the community of Highgate. As someone who has lived here my whole life with my family I find it shocking that this lady had the audacity to speak illy of the community.
