Hampden Veterinary Hospital

We used to go to Wendover heights for our cats, but changed to Hampden.

Our cat has been significantly calmer for a whole list of reasons, but I would like to specifically thank Ed for his calmness and confidence when dealing with our cat.

At Wendover, our cat was marked as aggressive, they had to take blood tests from his leg while he was muzzled. Meanwhile Ed was able to get it from our cats neck, no muzzle or even gloves needed.

He even got our car to purr while on the table! Something which I would not have ever dreamed our cat would do.

So thank you and we will be back!

Saved my dog. It was Easter Sunday and my dog was struggling for breath. They dropped everything to rush him straight in. I am very grateful to everybody there who all helped. They saved my little guy. Fees were extremely reasonable but it wasn’t about money! Five stars and thank you!

This was my first visit and the experience was very good.. Convenient parking. Friendly welcoming receptionists in a spacious and airy reception. The vet, Maddie, was very professional and a good communicator. The care package seems good value, especially if you give your pet regular flea treatment. Would happily recommend.

Really welcoming receptionists and easy to get an appointment. All vets & vet nurses are kind and caring, make my nervous dog feel very comfortable and even excited to see everyone. Vets really listen to concerns and provide solutions that no other vet practice ever gate. Couldn't recommend more!

Been with Hampden Vets for twenty years for my cats . My last cat passed away few weeks ago. They sent the wrong amount for claim to Petplan, and have had to chase them up to correct the amount I'm due for the claim . Just what you need when you're cat is dead ! They are happy to take your money loads of it but can't fill out a customer claim form correctly!.

Very disappointing service and treatment. Misdiagnosed our dog and almost cost her life (after numerous visits) which was then quickly solved by another practice. Will not be returning & would never recommend to others. Already taken this up with the vets who are not willing to accept any responsibility. Stay well clear.

Prices are absolutely shocking, double the amount that other vets around the UK charge. A procedure 3 other vets charge 30/40 pounds for, they are charging 150.
One of my pets bills came to 900, another vet quoted they'd have only charged 400 for the same procedure. However not all bad here, malcolm is incredibly amazing, he's always recommended and has never once let us down. He's fantastic
