A wonderful practice with incredibly professional Veterinarians. Very sadly I had my beautiful girl Jessie put to sleep on Thursday.
Eva, Jessie’s Vet, who we had been looking after her was amazing and Jessie was so happy to go with Eva for her bloods and even let Eva commence an ultrasound without any sedation. I was so utterly heartbroken and struggling with the news of Jessie and Eva’s kindness and compassion was everything we needed in that moment. Eva went out of her way to create a peaceful and calm final moment for Jessie, and my girl was put to sleep in my arms which is what I wanted. I felt so supported and Jessie’s life ended in the most dignified way. Thank you so much Eva. Dana

Having been a past client with previous dogs, I mistakenly tried other vets around the local area who were closer, whilst I had no complaints, I realised today after moving my latest dog to their practice how the quality of care and customer service at Straitons is above all of them.
The amount of helpful information John imparted on me during the appointment was invaluable.
He listened to me and gave suitable advice. There was no hard sell and i was given the full range of alternatives available rather than just the one my last vet preferred.
His compassion for the dog was evident and I left with a happy dog who will no longer cower when she smells the vets surgery!!

Amazing, I rung around loads of vets with noone helping me as noone would see a tortoise was told to go to a exotic vets in Coventry..
I rung these and was seen same day, Craig was amazing thankyou...

Very friendly and welcoming practice, from the receptionist, nurses and vets. You always feel welcomed listened to treatment is explained and offered advice when needed. I’ve been going over 10 years and never had any problems.

My dog had a few surgical procedures yesterday and I cannot fault Straitons. I received a call the day before to go over everything. On arrival I was greeted by a young lady who went over everything again so I was sure what was happening. During my dogs time in theatre I received a call to inform me what was happening and if I wanted to go ahead. Later another call to let me know how she was and when to collect her. On arrival we were given food, meds and all was explained and an appointment already made for a post op check up.
I totally trust these vets and wouldn't take her anywhere else. They keep you informed at every stage, do their upmost for your pets and every staff member we met were pleasant and kind. Couldnt ask for more.

We have been using Straitens Vets for 20 years now and have always had Craig as our main vet ( unless Craig’s too busy then we have seen another vet) and even then, they are all very approachable, friendly and I have been happy with the outcome…

Craig is the “God,” of vets!!!
His knowledge and how he picks up on things so quickly is second to none!
Craig is so down to earth, he tells you as it is and doesn’t try and push meds or treatments ( that would cost the earth) if he doesn’t think they’re needed, true professional and an outstanding credit to Straitens Vets!

My puppy's first visit to the vet and we were both made to feel very welcome by everyone we met. My pup was thoroughly checked over and treated with kindness when given his injection. All of my questions were answered and clear advice was offered. Extremely happy.

We have been attending this practise with all our pets for many years,(dogs and cats) and have been very satisfied with our pets' care (except once some years ago). The vets are caring and informative; office/reception staff and nurses are friendly and efficient. Thanks to all. Woof, Miaow.
