Although the staff friendly and the vets very helpful, on 2 occasions I have turned up to an appointment and been told that it’s not in their system, and sent away with little more than a “sorry”. I will also add that each of these appointments has involved me/my partner taking annual leave, as some of us have to work office hours during weekdays and have to take time off to get our pets seen to.
Communication between staff is an absolute car crash, and we have often had to follow up 5/6 times with the surgery to get an answer to a simple question, that we will often have been waiting weeks for. If I had a penny for each time I was told “someone will get back to you this week” and they haven’t, I’d be able to afford their ridiculous fees. We have been left in the dark for months on numerous occasions, and quite frankly I’m shocked that they have been functioning in this way for this long. Would not recommend this surgery and beg them to make radical changes to the inner workings of their company.

I’d just like to say how delighted we were with the care our little dog received at Chertsey Vets. We brought our dog to Chertsey to have a keyhole spay procedure which our own vet in Sussex did not offer for smaller animals. The staff here are wonderful and if we lived nearby they would be our first choice for a vet.
Tristan specialises in laparoscopic spays and I knew Lily would be in excellent hands. Thank you Chertsey Vets!

Helpful, knowledgeable, pragmatic and empathetic small practice with a heart. I've used a number of vets over the decades ( dogs cats ) , and found the Chertsey Vets practice to be a keeper. Recommended.

Been with them for about a year. Sometimes not very organised and they don't send any reminders so make sure you set your own and you know exactly what and when your pet had and is due for their treatments, visits (info might be missing or recorded incorrectly in the system). Staff is friendly and the vets are generally good.

Called in for AHC, took a lot of sorting out for some reason we didn't quite understand, because we had proof of rabies vaccination.
The first vet said it wasn't linked to the chip, but it was. Eventually we were handed over to a lovely Spanish vet who saw no problem and completed the AHC in no time.

Excellent friendly vets with great people skills!
Our dog had orthopaedic surgery this week. The procedure was meticulously explained, a folder of post-op requirements provided, and contact made immediately after surgery.
Our other dog loves these vets so much that he can't wait to get in the door when he needs to!!!!!

Very caring vets. Like all vets however their medications prices are high. On a positive, if you sign up for healthy pet plan unlimited consultations are included.
Today I took my cat for follow up. Before I arrived, the practise called me and asked for consultation fee over the phone. I was not happy but paid. After my appointment I had to pay the estimated fee of £700 for the surgery. What is this, frightened that I'm going to runaway without paying. This is a massive lack of trust. I am upset about this.
