Our puppy has been really poorly & has been diagnosed with a seious condition called Megaoesophagus which has been really upsetting . .especially for our 2 little girls(5 & 6yrs)& we have had to take a lot of information & advice in quickly. The staff here have been so good wether its an appointment or an operation ur pet needs they are always on hand.

In particular " Richard ".He has had to repeat things to us and even explains Tillys condition to our little ones.We never feel 'rushed' and if we just dont get something he will explain it til we do.The staff at Aintree VETS4PETS treat the animals like they are their own. Cant ask for more than that. .

The vets and receptionists are lovely. When we had concerns with our kitten post vaccination we were seen that day, reassured and charged as a follow up visit rather than a separate visit. They have always treated both our animals and children (who are very inquisitive and ask a lot of questions when people are trying to work) with kindness and respect. Very happy to keep coming back here.

Took my Staffordshire bull terrier into the vet as was unwell and lethargic. The vet was very rude and dismissive throughout the appointment. The vet said my dog had a slight issue with his kidneys which could be rectified by changing his diet to more white meat. She gave him an injection and some anti-sickness tablets and we left, £300 lighter. After this, my dog began to eat less and less and stopped drinking water.
We took him back to the vet, he was in a very bad way and we were met with no kind of sympathy. We were made to sit in a busy waiting room, in a busy pets at home store, whilst my family was visibility upset, and my dog was euthanised.
I have no faith at all that the vet helped in any way shape or form, just that she made things so much worse.
I have another dog and 2 cats registered with this vet, and I will never take them to be seen by this vet again.

The reception staff are quite honestly lovely people. Always pleasant and helpful. I think Megan is one of their namesake I know one is Cristian? They are just a pleasure to deal with. I can’t remember the other ladies name I spoke to but she was so helpful!!!! Melissa?? The locum vet was concerned about my dog and turned out that she was right. He has lymphoma and without her concern I would never have known. My only concern is the lack of appointments at the moment and I hope that will change soon. Also told the reason X-rays could not be done was down to no staff…and I had to be referred to an animal hospital. But overall I love and appreciate vets for pets Aintree

The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and they always take the time to talk to you about the issue. I feel confident in their interest in my pet being treated in the best way possible. They really care and we would use them again for more animals we may have care of in the future.

We've lost a lot of trust from this vets. A lot of issues that just kept coming each time we visited. Starting from my poor cat years back who had been posioned and they refused to see him. He passed away when they could have saved him.

Now, to my rabbits in the present. I understand that rabbits are hard to gender as babies but when two vets with 35 years experience between them are confident that one was a boy and one was a girl (originally bought as two girls) We booked them in to be spayed / neutered. We signed the papers for one boy and one girl to find our AFTER their operations that they were both boys. This vets was not consented to operate on two boys and they didn't call us prior to ask if we wanted to continue.
Since this, the vets have continued to let us down. My rabbit had their vaccinations booked weeks in advance and when I went to take them, I was informed there was only one vaccine when they knew I had two rabbits. I had to take one back the next day to stress him out in the car.
This vets claim they put pets first, but in reality, they don't.

We've now left this practice and gone somewhere else, somewhere who we know will 100% put our pets first.

Very professional and friendly staff. Vet was excellent and really went the extra mile for my greyhound sonny who had been attacked by another dog. Having plenty of checks to see how wound is healing. I am really pleased with this. Paid nearly £1000 for trearment but had to pay more money today for extra pills. I am at the limit of what I can spend now. Expensive but had to be done.

This is my experience with vets 4 pets after 4 years, my staffie boy was 9 years old when we took him to the vets to be neutered while he was there they found a tumor sitting on his splen, we got told he only had 6 months to live and to say our goodbyes, that was the worst 6 months of our lives. Came March 2019 he was still here with us I was made up. In September the same year he needed his vaccination and once again we got told he only had a week to live. I decided to give him daily hemp oil for dogs and we are now in 2021 and thank God his doing fine. I'm glad we didn't liesen to the vets because according to them he should have been put down in March 2019.Its not for the money we spent but for the heartache we had to got through. His 12 years now and doing fine and we changed vets since then. Hope this helps other dogs owners, don't put your dog down just because they say so you know your pet better then any vet.
