Ark Vets-Pinhoe

Ark Vets are my go to place with my five fur babies ! (Cats)
David and his colleagues are wonderful with my animals and always give honest advice . Whether you you have cats , dogs , guinea pigs, gerbils, hamsters etc etc they are caring , honest people . Gentle with the animals and polite and helpful to the owners 😊😊

David the vet is the best vet we came across. Always very knowledgeable, quick and resourceful. Competitive prices too. We highly recommend this Veterinary Practice.

If I'm 100% honest I am currently lost for words. We recently had to move our dog from this vets to a local one due moving house. Upon her first appointment with our new vets they pointed out 3 things that our dog had been suffering with for almost 12 months now that the ark vets had "missed" or not picked up on. I was devastated to find out that one of which was a deformity to her leg joints which should of been noticed and treated by the vets from a puppy. Our new vets had not only diagnosed this within 5mins of the consultation but had talked us through every risk and treatment possible if this continues to progress. My dog is currently 1 years old and could now face a life of painful treatments or and therapy to help with this. Along side this ark vets also failed to pick up on a miss lined jaw causing an over bite to which we should been made aware of to keep up on full dental hygiene to stop any dental issues common to this. I'm honestly disgusted that multiple check ups along side her original puppy check up missed all of the above, the new vet we are registered with was also taken back by this, as they said this should have been not only picked up on but diagnosed from her first ever check up. Today in a 30min routine check up I found out more about my dog then I ever did within the whole time I was registered with ark vets. I'm disgusted by this practice and I can only but hope those who are registered with these vets get the help they need and are not left misinformed and undiagnosed as we where.

I'm truly heartbroken knowing this whole time we could of been doing more for my dog but unfortunately it's taken this long to find out. And that's not okay.

Been using Ark for over well over 10 years, would never take my animals anywhere else. David and Becky are lovely, and they have a genuine care for the animals they treat. Always recommend ☺

Been here twice now with both dogs and they handle my big dogs well. Reasonable price for everything. Helpful nurses and vet.

Nice staff, good vets but I think the veterinary surgeon wasnt so comfortable with big dogs or maybe just my rotty, either way I'm happy so far with the service and I'm happy to return

Took an injured pigeon in..I'm not at this vet but it was closest. ..so kind and took it in without any fuss. Felt that they actually cared and would at least try to help it.

I used Ark vets in pinhoe for the first time today, they were very kind, understanding and professional from the start. They did everything they could to help me and see me today and to help me with a very sad situation. Thank you.
