A Special thanks to Vet Victoria who was especially helpful, kind and supportive when helping our little dog Jerry who sadly passed a few weeks ago. We’d highly recommend Morley and wouldn’t hesitate in using them again as our local vet.
Thank you so much Morley team 😘😘
As a consequence they offered a diabetes test which I had not asked for but was persuaded its good to have for old cats along with the kidney test and they had enough blood for this.
I agreed and they charged me over £100. Not a problem!
The director of the surgery/and vet on duty that did the blood test; then suggested I bring her in another time rather than traumatis her anymore.
Then we'll try again to gain enough blood for the kidney test.
I brought her in again.
A different vet was on duty so I explained the above whilst she read my cats notes. I pointed out I should be the one to hold her as she wont struggle with me. I was ignored and this time the vet dislocated her little elbow whilst restraining her(she's 17) and charged me another £100 which I felt unfair as it was their inability they could not get enough blood the last time so I have to pay twice.
I return home after 5.10pm vet appt.
I let her out of carrier and she hobbles upstairs.
I phone the vet in question to point this out. The vet tells me, my cat struggled so much they had to take blood from her leg in the end.
I was told to take the plaster off and she will stop hobbling.
I do this and an hour or so later I had to take her to emergency vet outside wellington where they put her dislocated elbow back in.
I was charged £140 which I gladly paid to put my old cat out of pain.
The vet on call stated tgat on his 30 years he had never seen a cat with a dislocated elbow, a shoulder yes, but never elbow.
Tone vets denied they dislocated her leg although they acknowledged her needing restraint, offered no apology or refund and suggested it happened after my cat and I left their surgery.
I told him I'd speak to a solicitor.
The director of Tone Vet said" fine" the call ended.
She went through so much destress and pain and now has cystitis from stress and it cost yet another £128.
I point out that I offered each time to be the one to hold her as she hates being away from me and they insist on taking the animal in question to another room rather than take the blood infront of you on the examination table..
Thank you Tone vets... You're all our heros! 💕🐾
We recently adopted a Kitten who ended up giving us kittens a few weeks later as was already expecting when we rescued her. We have had only fantastic service from every member of the team, they made us feel safe & informed us clearly on what our responsibilities were now. If you want friendly service, from a clean and caring environment don't hesitate on giving them a call.
