I have a rescue adult dog, so wasn't sure how he would react. This is the vets my Rescue uses. All the staff were amazing with him and he absolutely loves them. He had his jabs then was booked in for a castration which went really well and everything was explained about if we had any issues, which luckily we didn't. I will definitely be using this vets in the future, despite others being closer, as my dog actually enjoys seeing them all and they do him. I've signed up for their VIP club which for a monthly fee covers flea and worm treatment, boosters, checkups, and discounts off various things, works out a bargain. Would highly recommend 🐾 🐾

Just doing a short review for now as our dog is booked in to have a dental done here, so will update properly then.

I want to say a huge thank you to Sanduni and Beccy who treated my Son and dog with nothing but kindness, understanding and respect. Our dog is a very anxious girl and both ladies took their time with her.

We have been to see different vets and this by far is the best we've seen in Nottingham so far. It looks like Sanduni will be our dog's vet from now on (and any other pets we may adopt).

Edit - My dog had her dental on Tuesday, they treated her so well, she wasn't as anxious as I thought she would be, I'm glad I decided to switch to Scarsdale, her teeth only needed a clean, the other vet was talking about removing teeth! She's recovered pretty well. They even noticed she had fleas which I had thought and already asked my Son to pick up some flea treatment when he was collecting our dog, they were just about to mention it as he asked for the treatment.

The prices are really good, her dental only cost I think £175, I believe the flea treatment was £21 ish, it covers fleas and ticks and lasts for 30 days, it was tablet form that smelt of beef, it was put in with her dinner and she ate it first lol, definitely easier than the treatment you put on the back of their necks.

Thank you very much to the staff at Scarsdale for being so nice to my dog and Son. We will be getting another dog at some point, Scarsdale is now Suzie's permanent vet and will be our vet for any other dogs/family members we may get.

We recently started using this practice. Very friendly, helpful and professional team. Our dog was spayed a few weeks ago and they did a great job and the aftercare was also excellent. Highly recommend.

I have never dealt with a veterinary surgery before but I recently acquired 2 rats as pets as they were going to be used for research and were going to be put to sleep when the lab closed due to covid.
About a month ago one of the rats had a ? fractured foot or leg. Unfortunately Scarsdale had no appointments available that day so I took him to another veterinary practice and was not impressed by the service I paid for. Luckily it was just a soft tissue injury.
A few days ago the same poor rat had another injury to the other back foot. I got an appointment with Scarsdale in Wollaton. I was very impressed by the Veterinary Nurse Hollie (I think) and the Vet Sanduni. Both were very kind and professional. I have rung since to ask a few questions about another matter and have been rung back as promised.
Very impressed. Thanks.

its so nice to finally find a nice vets. I've only been twice, once to register my nearly 10 month German shepherd Neo and the second time for her to weighed and course of flea treatment. They are so friendly and didnt make you feel like bigger dogs are not welcome. My other vets made me feeling like they'd much rather deal with nice small dogs. This time I wasn't embarrassed that Neo is an excitable puppy that likes to be fussed because the staff where so friendly towards her and me. Thankyou guys you've restored my faith. And me and my husband are more than happy for you to take care of our pride and joy 🥰🥰

We chose this place because of the network of veterinary surgeries around and 4.9* at Google - and now it's time to confirm this high level feedback.
We have to urgently check what's happening to our cat for 14 years, "Dotka", so I called them. They didn't have a slot for the next few days, but a helpful reception girl offered me a slot at Langley Mill branch... next hour !
Unfortunately we have to say goodbye to our lovely cat, as cancer took over, but I'm grateful for vet lady there, which check blood and x ray, which show to me with clear explanation what's going on. I had to let go of a few pets before and I can state that Langley Mill service was very understanding and informative, giving me enough time to consult our farewell with my family, get myself in order and to say thanks and godbless to "Dotka".
All services, including cremation sorted in this one sad visit and very reasonable price - which I was kept updated on every step.
A few days later we even get "sorry for your loss" card from them 🙏🏻
So, when my ladies decided fee days later that we uave to get new kitten there was obvious where we go with vaccination etc.
Wollaton branch is just behind the corner so we booked appointment and choose they "VIP Plan" to looking after our "Luna". 11.70£ p.m. cover vaccines, deworming, flea treatment, nails cuts, blood checking and more, with 10% discount on inside shopping and neutring surgery. Great value in affordable instalments.
Same like Langley Mill, kind approach and clear explanation by both reception and Veterinary ladies, clean and spacious, well arranged interior and off street parking behind "Papa John's" pizzeria.
Will definitely recommend 👍🏻

I would not recommend this vet at all! They never pick up the phone and you are always redirected to the Derby branch. They sometimes don’t even have vets in the branch. Every time a different vet was checking out puppy so they had no idea of the medical history. And the worse part was that our puppy was neglected for months. Since he had his second jabs we mentioned he was scratching his ears too much. The only few times we managed to go they always said he was fine. When we changed vet straight away they found he had ear mites. This happened when he was 8 months old so was suffering for 5 months!

EDIT: My original review, below, is from a year ago. THINGS HAVE CHANGED! Since Sanduni left this place is now useless. There is never a vet available so we had to go to Langley Mill branch for treatment! Not so local...and there, they didn't have the staff either for our BOOKED appointment. Wasted journey and stressed out cat. We moved to Churchcroft in Beeston, THAT'S how to run a professional vet surgery.
AVOID SCARSDALE !!

Previously:-

Visited to pick up pet medicines. Very professional service and I felt totally safe with the measures that have been put in place for Covid-19. All the staff are welcoming, knowledgeable and genuinely interested in the health and wellbeing of customers' pets, making it a pleasant experience, even when taking in stressed out patients/owners. There was a new member of staff being trained during my visit this time. She kept apologising for not knowing how the payment system worked - don't worry, you were doing just fine ! I'm sure that you will become another fabulous member of this fabulous team !
Thanks Sanduni and all the staff there.
