01/09/2022: My 14 year old cat has been on steroids for IBD for more than two years now. Recently, he started losing weight rapidly. I asked them to have an ultrasound or other more invasive examinations three months ago, only to be sent home with a diabetes diagnosis. Three months later, he is only a skeleton. They recently told me that actually his diabetes values were not so bad and it might have not been diabetes at all. Unfortunately though , he has deteriorated a lot and I am taking my cat to a specialist clinic this morning in a desperate attempt to save his life out of my initiative. 3 stars as some aspects of customer service could be improved. They have been working awhile in my cat's case and I hope we can sort this.

02/09/2022: Imaging results and blood tests came back more promising than the original diagnosis. We are still in open communication with both the specialist Clinic and the Cat clinic to find a way to move forward.

06/09/2022: At present my cat is really poorly and I think a lot of time was lost between trying to figure out what he has got and jumping from one vet to another didn't help. We are currently trying to figure out a way to collaborate and see what is best for him and the Cat Clinic has understood my concerns and is willing to work on that.

The vets really love cats and take great care treating their feline patients. Cats in their care are recognised as "personalities" and addressed by name. They listen to your description of your cat's symptoms and discuss treatment choices.

The receptionists do everything they can to book appointments at convenient times, deal with prescriptions etc and are friendly and welcoming.

There is a quiet calm atmosphere; so necessary for sick and frightened cats.

The clinic is also very supportive of stressed out carers!

Just moved back to the UK from abroad and was thrilled to find a Vet that's *very* responsive and digital. Emailed receipts, easy sign-up, a really nice atmosphere at the location and very pleasant humans who clearly care a great deal about cats.

update, 1 year later: absolutely stellar service. Can't recommend highly enough.

The Cat Clinic is simply perfect. We’ve been to both the Botley and Marston clinics, and the service was exceptional at both. There is a genuine warmth to everyone in clinic, and I really trust them with my cat’s welfare. I am an anxious cat owner, and they take the time to make sure I understand what’s going on and to reassure me where needed. I would recommend them to any cat owner. Both our cats also love being there - it’s all purrs and snuggles.

Had an incredibly positive experience at The Cat Clinic in Botley this weekend. Fiona and Steph were brilliant with me and my 14 year old cat. They were so gentle with my cat and clearly cared about him. They were also so kind and considerate to me too. I would absolutely recommend the Cat Clinic to anyone wanting the best care for their cat.

The kindest, most pro-cat vets you could wish for! We have dogs too, so we love them too, but it’s not great for cats having to wait in a dog-inclusive waiting room… at the Cat Clinic it is only cats; everything is geared to making felines happy; and I’ve never felt hurried through an appointment. From several years’ experience of coming to the Cat Clinic Botley, I’d definitely recommend them (Duncan and Eleanor have been fabulous with our cats over many appointments!)

Absolutely the best for cats, they understand the cats and the strange folk we cat owners are. I look to my cats and they like the Vets here, so who am I to disagree 😀
