McPhersons Veterinary Practice

Absolutely amazing vets. I live some distance and I'm happy to travel because I have total peace of mind my pets needs are at the forefront and not money. I could quiet easily use a numver if other vets on my doorstep. I Couldn't say a thing wrong. Jack and all the staff are very friendly and informative. Costings are reasonable. Thanks from me Nero and Teddy.

Great place, the staff are always so friendly and caring of our 3 pooches. We don't have an issue with their prices, they are very fair. Our dogs have always been looked after very well here, even when they've had operations and stayed in for the day. No issues at all. Thank you to all of the staff here who do a fantastic job!

Never have a problem getting booked in quickly. Very efficient & affordable. Always feel my feelings are considered & the staff are lovely & compassionate. They only prescribe what you need & are affordable. I think these guys are great.

All the vets are lovely, as well as all staff. They listen to your concerns, always seem to have the time. I wouldnt visit another veterinary practice and feel lucky to have found McPhersons

Although a small reception area to be fair your not in there for long, professional friendly staff we usually see Jack McPherson because our dog has Leish and needs bloods taken twice a year totally satisfied with how everyone cares and treats not only our dog but ourselves the owners! Competitive prices .

It makes my blood boil of how some Vets rip pet owners off. When out walking you always chat to fellow dog walkers, conversation always comes to vets and how they rip you off. I sing the the praises of McPhersons as they have always been far cheaper with great staff. A friend went with his cat. He wasn't happy with the reception area, saying it didn't look pristine. But guess what when he got his bill, he signed all his cats up with them 👍 Please don't change. 💕

AVOID AVOID Absolutely disgusting animal care!!! Took my dog in for excessive thirst and urination. The Vet Mr Aaron Gilmore never used stethoscope or took dogs temperature. Proceeded to carry out over a £1000 worth of tests and wouldn’t listen to our concerns about my dogs back leg twitching. My dog Blue had a blood clot that was misse on two apparently through consultations, a pre and post procedure examination. My dog Blue was placed under sedation which caused his blood pressure to drop and made the clot worse and caused agonising pain. My dog was left screaming in pain for THREE HOURS whilst in their care and kennels without anyone tending to him. Today I had to have my dog put to sleep due to McPhersons negligence. I will be reporting them to the Royal college of veterinary surgeons. We have used this veterinary practice as a family for over 40 years and after making our concerns known to Jack McPherson who has been a family friend for many many years, about the disgusting treatment of my dog Blue, they had the audacity to remove my dogs treatment whilst under treatment and prescription. If you love your pet DON’T USE THIS VETS.
