Celyn Vet Group

Amazing Surgery and brilliant people. I had to have my 15 year old cat put to sleep today after a good life, registered with his brother this surgery since kittens. Unfortunately his brother died over a year ago and they were very good when that happened too, going above board. They are highly professional, caring people and they will bend over backwards for you and your pet. We need more people like them in the world. Thank you for everything that you have done for my animals.

Staff changes prompted me to find an alternative Vet practice. Although not the closest to home I have been with Celyn Vets for 18 months and cannot fault them. Lovely place, excellent vets and a very caring, friendly practice. My greyhound 'Buddy' has always received sympathetic handling and a commendable level of care and attention. Thank you to all.

We brought our cat to Celyn Holywell on Saturday and the vet who looked after us was amazing! sadly it was not good news and there was nothing we could do. The vet that looked after us was very gentle and sensitive, she gave us time and space to say our goodbyes. Today we got a little "sorry for your loss" card in the post and I thought that was a lovely touch. Thank you to all staff at Celyn.

Easy accessible vets with parking. Friendly staff with a lovely vet. Listened to my questions and gave answers with no ambiguity on treatment or cost. Extremely helpful and a lovely, calm experience. Costs not above my expectations, so would definitely recommend

Utterly shambolic. Never see the same vet twice. No consistency. No one reads notes from prior consultations. Animal care & welfare appears to be a secondary concern after how much they can charge owners. Every visit results in a increasingly expensive list of treatments and referrals they COULD make, rather than treating the problem themselves (the staff you see are supposed to be vets, not sales people - I wonder if they're paid commission for "upselling"?).

They charge for a consultation, I have no problem with that. This usually results in a prescription being issued, again to be expected, although the mark-up on what they dispense would be interesting to read. However if the supplied product doesn't work and you need to go back, you get charged ANOTHER consultation fee, leading to another prescription for different medication. I doubt Celyn are the only practice doing this, but there is obviously an incentive to prescribe ineffective treatments in order to facilitate a follow-up appointment (see earlier musing regarding commission).

We're now looking for a new vet. One who puts animal welfare, not profit, first.

Really excellent. Pet health care plan is worth doing. Excellent experience.

All the staff are amazing with my animals. All very friendly and so helpful.

Totally disgusting vets no care for pets they let pets suffer so they can make money
Also lie to my mum so they could make money and let my mum cat suffer
Do not go to this vets as they don't care for the pets all they care about is making money
