Riverside Vets

Totally INCOMPETENT, LACK of KNOWLEDGE and USLESS! AVOID at ll costs. We had an emergency night visit at 3am. The veterinarian did not examine properly my dog and did not administrate any medication. Instead she sent us home. My dog was in severe pain all night, vomiting and whining. I found out from another vet that she had an ALLERGIC reaction and should have receive a medical care at that point! They are also highly incompetent in filing the insurance claim form, so be careful and always check the amount claiming if you ever come across them.

Twice now riverside have given up on my dog. Thankfully we insisted on a referral to a specialist and our dog is well and still with us. First time, he was misdiagnosed with cancer. He had liver disease. Second time we were told to put him to sleep in the carpark by Emilio. Without a proper diagnosis. He had a bladder infection. Thanks to Anderson Moores he is recovering well. I will never forgive riverside for the trauma they put us through when telling us to put our healthy dog to sleep, in a car park, without proper diagnosis, and then when I complained to management they doubled down and defended his actions. 2 stars as bridgett and tatyana have been good in the past. But I have now left this surgery. I want someone who will fight to keep my dog alive and well and I don't think riverside is the place.

My dog is still alive over 6 months later thanks to other vets and Anderson Moore. Emilio is a disgrace to vets everywhere and my official complain to the practice got dismissed. Still absolutely disappointed with the service received from riverside.my dog deserves better. May 2022 and simba is still alive. Pic for proof!

Disappointed with care given to my dog. Over priced for 10 minutes consultation with a veterinary nurse,and my dog gets so terrified when she has to go there for treatment.

Always thorough experience. They all are really nice and attentive and I can't fault them so far.

Extremely professional, yet sympathetic and went the extra mile when my poorly chameleon had to be put to sleep. Gave me time to make the hard decision, then sent a card and footprints as keepsakes the next day.

Reception staff ,nursing and vets all make you feel welcome and provide a friendly professional service

My 11 year old dog has been very poorly recently and i thought i was going to lose her but within a week my favourite vet has turned her around and she is fighting fit again and happy. Thank you Riverside

Following an unfortunate misdiagnosis in August, which caused a tremendous amount of upset, as been a loyal customer since 1999 with various animals from small furries to horse, we can no longer recommend these Vets. Since January 2021 this practice has changed for the worse and please don’t ever set up an account, as they will breach this without the notice and refuse to honour their services, even when an appointment is booked and paid for! They still owe £72.00 but have closed the account and are extremely rude and unprofessional, not to mention their spelling mistakes on the admin side of things in particular.
