Aspen Veterinary Surgery

Overpriced, Peter Melville has no compassion and I am in agreement with the previous review that called him condescending. He has a terrible bedside manner. His diagnosis contradicted the previous vet at the practice that I saw days earlier. All i saw were pound signs in his eyes. Terrible treatment and only bring your animals here if you want them to be used as a cash cow. On a good point the receptionists were amazing. AVOID!

Can't fault the care given and expertise. They are being very covid cautious though so currently (I visited on the 4th Jan 22) it's one customer only at a time, all others have to wait outside until they are ready for you (we waited about 15 minutes). Also you can not accompany your pet into the surgery, consultation happens in the waiting area and the vet takes your pet through without you so if you have a nervous animal it's worth keeping this in mind.

Aspen veterinary surgery and Peter have been looking after our family pets for over 30 years. Peter and his team have build a great amount of trust in us as a family and we would highly recommend aspen at the team to anyone.

Not a pleasant experience. Peter had not read the notes from my previous practice, was condescending and the long wait outside on the main road was distressing for my cat. In addition you are not allowed into the room, and my cat was poorly all weekend after his vaccination.

Excellent quality staff and service. They take good care of our cat.
