I used the vet when my sugar glider recently became unwell following us having a house fire. The vet done a half hearted examination then decided to prescribe multible medications for multi things as he was unsure of the cause.
We paid our bill, was given a receipt and left.
The next day, I get an email telling me the payment wasn't successful, although my receipt say it was. I checked my bank and sure enough the payment hadn't left my account. I assured the vet I'd get the payment sent over.
I'll be honest, i forgot to make a payment, i was under alot of stress from the fire and it slipped my mind. 3 days later rather than getting a call/ messaging reminding or asking about payment my partner is getting phone calls from the vet shouting and screaming at him for lack if payment- making alsorts of threats.
The mistake firstly lays with the receptionist who failed to process our payment correctly, and second with myself- being under so much stress and forgetting.
But a little respect and understanding goes along way.
The bill's been paid - but I definitely wouldn't returning.
