We're not an 'invasive' practice, and we only ever undertake tests or procedures if they are completely necessary. We don't believe that " because we can do something, we must do it", and this is for two reasons. Firstly unnecessary tests and procedures can put an intolerable stress on your pet. And secondly, those "add-ins" can be dreadfully expensive for owners.

Absolutely fantastic vet. Turned up at about 5.30pm on a Thursday with no appointment. No issues with getting the cat seen. Cat hates anybody new but the vet was so good with her. Incredibly patient and diagnosed her very quickly. One injection and 2 days later she's all better. Couldn't recommend this vet enough.

Booked 5 days in advance to make sure we had a spot for a simple second injection for our dog we arrived 10 mins earlier to ensure we were on time yet we have waited an 1hr+ in a hot car with a restless dog, not so great for a first experience. Hope for better in the future
UPDATE : it’s been an hour apparently they looked for us that could not if been the case as we were waiting outside, and we can’t have the injection anyway as the vets gone home and they didn’t notify us of this. Would never recommend

Sadly I had to say goodbye to my furry friend of 17years. Being new to the area, I found Vaughn Jones vets and staff were so kind, incredibly caring and amazingly accommodating. The professionalism and empathy were exceptional that morning and I can't thank them enough for helping me lay my old dog to rest. Highly recommend this good quality, down to earth vets practise. For those interested in costs, I found this service very reasonable. I will be taking the rest of our pets and new dogs to this practice. Thank-you to an amazing team of caring professionals!

So impressed with these vets - we weren’t registered with them and had a slight first aid emergency. They were so helpful and lovely. Huge thanks (and we’re registered now!!). Highly recommend.

Took my two kittens for their first appointment, injections, chip and check up.
Service was 100% although your unable to go in with your pets. The vet and receptionist were very helpful.

Since this vet has been taken over by Medi-vets, the vets are constantly changing and never seem to know the history of my pet, they get the age, colour and name wrong. Are they reading the notes for my pet or another animal. When Vaughan Jones was there it was great, not anymore, oh and the prices have gone up.

I had the sadest day of my life. I had to put down 3 of my family dogs to sleep TAZ, DIXY and DAISY. Mr Jones treated my little ones with respect and love. And took care of my daughter and myself at this sad time 😞
