Riverside Violins

Mark recently serviced my beautiful JTL Violin which I bought from him about a decade ago. Some quite extensive repairs and cleaning was needed (all my fault!), and Mark did a wonderful job - he really went above and beyond to make the violin play at peak performance. All of this was for an incredibly reasonable price, and he even told me how to keep my violin in pristine condition. I would recommend Mark to anyone! 100% worth contacting and working with.

Buying an instrument from Riverside is a pleasure, no pushy sales techniques, plenty of time to try instruments in an unhurried way, all backed up by Mark's helpful advice and suggestions. His range of vintage violins (all sympathetically serviced and returned to first rate playing condition) are real value for money.

He looks after his customers too having recently serviced my son's JTL which we bought from him around ten years ago he successfully cleaned off about 10 years of rosin build up! Re-glued and reshot the fingerboard, fitted a new bridge, and repaired an issue with a glue seam opening up, (all due to ten years of serious gigging, damp student flats, and overly dry centrally heated rooms), the instrument now looks, plays and sounds fabulous again.
