Oxford Violins

Today was my second visit to Oxford Violins. On both occasions I have been treated most respectfully (as a music lover with no technical knowledge or talent for playing!)

The three guys that work here are true craftsmen and deliver an exemplary service at a very reasonable price.

There is simply no better place to go for builds, repairs, retunes or advice on violins.

This is the top UK shop outside London for advice and work on your instruments. Despite their backgrounds, all three are enormously tactful and helpful with Musicians who dare to enter the shop.

Beautiful team! For all your violins and, I suspect, string instruments needs! And they will definitely help with an amazing selection of instruments from the 18th and 19th century, genuine examples, expertly selected for their tonal qualities... Seriously impressive!

A very fine establishment. The guys here are incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to antique stringed instruments, but are also super friendly and helpful even with one such as myself who is completely ignorant of music. They are generous with their time and charge very reasonable fees. Would highly recommend!

Oxford Violins supplied a very fine contemporary violin by maker Kearns to my student Alison. Sounds great and she enjoys playing it.
