Silveracre Comic

No. Turned up here to discover it was somebody’s house. Really? I know that Silveracre is an eBay and website seller, but don’t list your home as a shop. I advise any comic book fans living in/visiting Chester to not go.

Every time i purchase a book , it gets refunded , so basically if you order any key issues or books that may heat up , he will take the order , check the current stats or potential of the book , and if it’s heating up or has the slightest potential to do so , he will refund you and keep them all for himself. I’ve ordered around 6 times from the website , all multiple different titles on multiple different occasions , even ordered totally different books within the same order , every single time I get an email saying that all the books I’ve ordered sold earlier In the week , which is an absolute lie. There’s no point anyone ordering any key issues or first appearances or any spec books or any books that have potential to heat up because he will just refund you and keep those type of books for himself. FACTS. DOESN’T HONOUR THE SALE. And judging by the other reviews I’m not the only one. , I also had to repost this review as he somehow got it removed.

I ordered two books, then got a PayPal refund a few days later with no email of explanation or note on the PayPal refund. I contacted them and the reply was, "The books sold earlier in the week, sorry".

There seems to be a REOCCURRING PATTERN here of purchases and then orders not being honoured.

I placed an order with them via Ebay and it arrived in perfect conditions even earlier than expected. Very happy with their good service!

Items well packaged, and posted promptly, they helped me out beforehand by phone to ensure I got the right comic supplies so the service is good too.

Untrustworthy. Grading doesn’t match up.
Seems like a conflict on interest to grade books and then sell them yourself.
Surely there’s temptation to grade a 4.0 at a 7.0 for that extra money.
Not to mention slabbing books with missing pages or restoration as regular books. Who would know?

I tried to ask them about it via Instagram in a very polite way. However my message was deleted and my profile blocked by them.

Online comicbook arrived before due date, beautifully packaged. Only problem was the condition of the comic, one page had flipped over before it was trimmed at the printing stage but I bought it to read it so it's no biggie.
