Cycling the King Alfred Way. Turned up at the pub at 8pm after a long day. The staff were brilliant and understood "the need". The kitchens did us a later food order and then in the morning they allowed us to use their tumble drier when it turned out our efforts to dry the cycling gear had failed. They had a garage to lock the bikes in overnight, so really a perfect location for anyone thinking of the KAW ride or indeed any passing ride.

Stayed here for the second time. This weekend we were on the motorcycle. Friendly atmosphere, really feels like a family run pub, they go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The room was comfortable and as we were on the bike they let me keep it in the secure garage which gave me piece of mind. Had a couple of drinks in the evening in the bar which was really nice. Big bar and a really nice garden.. Nice breakfast. Would definitely recommend and will be back. Nice, bike friendly Inn close to Petersfield (20min walk). Everything we needed for a great weekend.

We are locals who decided to use one of The Half Moon’s amazing Wedding packages when we got married in August. The Venue, the organisational skills, the staff and the food was better than we could ever have asked for. We were treated like superstars, nothing was too much trouble and everyone was so professional. It was such a special day, one I’ll never forget, largely because of this venue.

The main eating area had the feel of an old peoples home. Food was adequate , I shared a cheese board, 3 thin slices of cheese with a small number of biscuits, the digestive biscuits was soft and the others were not far behind. I won't be going back

Had our staff Christmas party last night. Great food, great atmosphere and fantastic staff. Thank you to everyone at the Half Moon for a fab night! 😁
