Busbridge Lakes

An absolutely dreamy Wedding day, it couldn't have been better. Amazing memories created all thanks to the Wonderful Team at Busbridge. It is the most magical location; the sounds of all the birds and the beautiful gardens make it a stunning location. Couldn't recommend it more.

Not open very often so best to check before leaving. Great spot for a walk around 3 lakes. Plenty of birds from geese to peacocks to see or photograph. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable on the birds and history of busbridge lakes. It costs £10 per adult to get in so not cheap but well worth it for an afternoon stroll. There is a small tea and gift shop at reasonable prices. Allow 2 hours to walk around the lakes, boathouse and see the birds.

I was fortunate enough to photograph a wedding at Busbridge Lakes and it was wonderful. Stunning venue for a creative person such as myself to work in and Bill was so helpful and kind. All around fantastic venue to work at.

We got married at Busbridge Lakes in June and couldn’t recommend it enough. The location is stunning and very peaceful, Bill and the team were extremely organised and couldn’t have been more helpful, particularly when it had to be rescheduled due to the covid restrictions.
We’ll have wonderful memories of getting married here, it’s also a lovely place to visit for a day out!

From the first day of planning to the last minute of our wedding day, Bill and his team went above and beyond to ensure we had the exact day that we wanted – he helped provide invaluable guidance when we shared ideas of how we wanted to personalise our day and played a vital role in co-ordinating all suppliers and associated logistics.

Our big day could not have gone any better and all of our guests haven’t stopped saying how amazing the venue and day was.

Busbridge Lakes is absolutely beautiful, and as a blank canvas venue it meant that we could tailor the whole day to what we wanted. His knowledge and advice helped us to create the perfect day, and made the experience of putting together a wedding much less daunting.
