The Walled Garden at Beeston Fields

Well, what a magical wedding venue! We originally booked to have our wedding in 2021, back in 2019, however we delayed until 2022 due to covid restrictions. On the run up to our day, Jade in particular made sure everything was covered for our day, & liaised with our companies attending on the day.

We chose to go for the afternoon tea for lunch and the barbecue in the evening. The afternoon tea came with platters of various classic finger sandwiches, & on the tiers; porkpie (the best Ive tried anywhere), cheese straws, & quiches to name a few. For the evening barbecue we changed a couple of foods to give it a Mediterranean feel, in which the chefs were happy to change for us. Other than a few hiccups during the afternoon tea service, all staff were polite, & made sure our day was hassle free.

Finally we would like to thank everyone involved at The Walled Garden, who worked with us every step of the way, to make our day special & memorable.

We had our wedding at the Walled Garden 2 weeks ago, and what can I say, it was just perfect. We first booked it in November 2019 for July 2021 and of course had to postpone because of the threat of restrictions. They allowed us to do so and everything was so easy and smooth with them. Our coordinator Lucy, was so easy and accommodating to deal with, answering all our questions quickly and fully. And on the day Lucy, Jake and Lydia were our points of contact and they were just great, coordinating with us all day and generally just being on hand if we needed them. We knew the food would be great after our tasting evening and it was. We had the BBQ and it was all delicious. The gardens themselves are just glorious, and we were so lucky with the weather. I love that there are so many great areas to get amazing photos and that apple arch is everything! I even found a hidden bench so I could have a few moments to myself to take it all in. So many of our guests were amazed at the venue and said it was the best wedding they'd ever been to. The only thing we're sad about is that it's all over and we no longer have an excuse to visit. We knew the first time we saw the venue it was the one, and it really was.

They force DJs/musicians to use the venue’s equipment which is heavily compressed and sound limited.
The volume will be exceedingly low and the sound quality will be awful.
You and your guests WILL notice. It WILL ruin the atmosphere of the evening.

Fabulous venue, loved the prosecco lady, the food was probably the best we have had on a christmas works do, we have marked it down as the DJ in our opinion was rubbish, never played any requests, and the music was mediocre and safe, we are usually a group that is always on the dance floor, but most people just danced to one or two songs, and most left before it ended stating that the DJ was rubbish. and lastly midnight is very early these days for a christmas party to end. such a shame as i said at the beginning a really great venue with fab food.

Such a magical time celebrating our wedding day at the Walled Garden. Lauren and the team went above and beyond to make James and I feel so welcome and special on the day. Nothing was too much to ask. Look no further for your wedding venue! xx

What can we say about not only the stunning venue of The Walled Garden, but also the brilliant, hardworking team making it run seamlessly?!
After helping us getting married in Covid restrictions back in 2020, we finally had a blessing and wedding celebration party in 2022. The gardens are beautiful in all seasons (but I'm biased and would say Autumn is best) and takes your breath away even more at night with all the twinkly lights. It's the perfectly romantic setting for a ceremony.
The set up of the marquee blew us away on the day and we felt like our vision of our wedding had finally come to life more than we could ever have imagined. We loved this venue from the first viewing and it far surpassed expectations on the day. The blank canvas of the marquee means you can really make your day unique to you. So many of our guests commented on how beautiful a venue it was.
Jade has been phenomenal in planning many different versions of the same wedding with us, you're so so lucky if she's involved in the planning of your day.
Lydia and all the team on the day couldn't do enough for us either and having never met any of them prior to the day, I really felt I could go chat to them about anything we need and no problem was too big!
