Had a lovely walk along the canal tow path to St Catherine's lock on a lovely sunny day. Has a quite relaxed atmosphere and it had 4 boats using the locks at the time we were there. Was great way to see how the locks were used and worked and I was able to explain the principles of the workings to my other half, who is from Spain. A lovely experience.

Such a lovely place to visit. Nice walk along the river, have a picnic or even put your trunks on and go for a swim in the open water. Dragonflies beautiful dance around the river bank. Bit of a trek with everything you need for the morning/afternoon stay as there is no nearby parking but it is a beauty spot and it would be ruined by a car park!

Scenic lock on a picturesque part of the river wey between guildford and shalford. Really good walks around and its actually quite popular with walkers, boaters and cyclists. The lock itself is very traditional and a wonderful place to rest and relax. Lovely wild flowers in summer.

Lovely view, helped me cross the river and allowed me to continue on to the downslink. A great place to walk dogs. The cows were a nice to look at too (:

Pleasent walk on the banks of the river wey with a beefeater restaurant by the side too
